Time Commitment: 32 hours per week preferred, minimum of 20 hours per week.

Introduction
The US-China Education Trust (USCET) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to
strengthening mutual understanding between the United States and China through education and
exchange for next-generation leaders.
Position Description
The Program and Communications Intern is responsible for conducting research and contributing
to the design of new initiatives, including working closely with senior staff in brainstorming
sessions, writing concept notes, and grant proposals. He or she will play a key role in the day-to-
day operations of USCET and create meaningful content for USCET’s social media accounts to
engage our audiences.
Responsibilities
Conduct online communications - Write blog updates for USCET website, draft new
website text/pages, draft announcements and newsletters, and other online content.
3. Reporting and Grant writing - Contribute to the design and development of new initiatives:
Ideal Candidate
Self-starter who takes initiative with projects and cooperates well with others.
Superb writing and editing skills.
Tech savvy and able to leverage a variety of software and online tools to assist in
communications and outreach; Proficient in Microsoft Office, Constant Contact, and
Adobe Suite software.
Responsible, punctual, organized, and able to work well in a small office environment.
Senior Undergraduate student, Graduate student or recent graduate with strong Chinese
linguistic and cultural knowledge.
Legally authorized to work in the United States (Citizen, Green Card Holder, or F-1
student with OPT) Note: We do not sponsor work visas.
