Member No.: 261,694 I'm just adding relative offset to NDS offset in TF. So complete sequential access is required.
so im guessing theres no way to get full access or are you working on it?
im not sure how often people tell you this but you are absolutely amazing for what you do i really
appreciate everything you've done i bet if you wanted to you could make your own firmware for the
m3/r4 that'll destroy everything the actual devs could ever make thanks man you rock.
and what do you mean the r4sdhc save? you cant save games on wood when you use an r4sdhc? or
are you talking about the new r4 that just came out?

now put the ysmenu.nds in the m3 ninetail folder and rename it to ysm3.nds
if you only want ysmenu copy the ysm3.nds file, the ttmenu folder, and the ysmenu folder
also for games to run on ysmenu you have to have a ttmenu.sys file google the newest dstt kernel and
it should come in the package jus copy it to the root of your sd.

i just wanted to add my $0.02 to the end of this thread to possibly help people who have an M3 Real,
Newbie who might have had to go through the same process i did: reading this thread a few times -- without
understanding very well the first time around. i believe i have now grokked it correctly and am going to
summarize here with what i hope is helpful advice for others who are not regular denizens of this forum,

M3 NineTail *instructions* excerpted and clarified:
[How to use]
once booted into M3 Sakura, you can launch the nds roms in the root of the microsd card
(woodm3.nds, TouchPod.nds, others*) to switch to other firmware.
But please note that once you have booted another firmware, you cannot go back to M3Sakura until you
reboot the DS.

*: on my M3 Real, not all roms in the root of the card are bootable from M3Sakura, but most are. for
instance, woodm3.nds worked but yswood.nds did not. i'm pretty sure it depends on which firmware
you've booted from. i'll leave this one to the experts to clarify.
[How to install, assuming blank microSD card and use of a pc that can run .bat files]
1. "Install latest M3Sakura" -- clarified:
1a. get latest M3Sakura from the M3Sakura thread in this subforum, or from
linfoxdomain.com.
1b. unpack what you've downloaded, and copy the M3Sakura 'SYSTEM' folder to the root
of your card.
2. Download M3 NineTail from this thread and unpack -- it should unpack into a folder called
'm3_ninetail'
4a. to be honest, those 3 files were already present in the m3_ninetail/TTMenu folder
when i downloaded my copy, so i'm not 100% sure if this instruction is still
valid/necessary.
5. If you want to set Sakura/Kaura lng to Japanese, extract system_japanese.7z (overwriting system
folder)
5a. if you want to run Sakura or Kaura in japanese, extract the contents of
system_japanese.7z to the m3_ninetail folder.
6a. now that your m3_ninetail folder is prepped, copy all the contents (various folders and
files) to the root of your card, allowing the contents to overwrite anything that may already
be present in the SYSTEM folder that you copied in step 1b. (Mac users, take note --
copying a folder on top of a folder with the same name will *replace* the contents instead
of merging them, you may wish to do this step on a pc)
7. "(On your opinion) extract iTouch.7z and copy iTouch folder to your microSD" -- i believe this is
self-explanatory.
if you're like me and have an M3 Real, launching woodm3.nds from the browser in M3Sakura will get you
to the Wood release with the 1.15 core, if that's the thing you're after.
i'm pretty sure that's it -- go forth and have fun! if i've missed anything, pm me and i'll edit this post.
and big ups to Xenon++ for a sweet release, thanks very much.

This is ridiculous, i'm starting to think i wasted my money buying an M3i (Z003) because the M3 team
Member is never gonna update, and any other custom (wood) won't work on it. So can anyone recommend
something else that Ninetail or wood will work on?
