Three innovation products and my findings

1. Mokhdar method

MOKHDAR method which was introduced by Mokhtar (1992), KUMON method which
originated in Japan and Mental Arithmetic method. Multiplication squares method is an
approach based on a table consists of number one to nine in a 9 u 9 squares build up by the
students, horizontally and vertically in the box provided (Zainuddin & Mohd Rashidi, 2009).
MOKHDAR method is a method that produces a sharp mind as a foundation to learning
mathematics and science (Mokhtar, 1992) Among the causes identified students can not
master mathematics well is full of references to the use of digits and symbols in the Malay
language that is too long. It is a very simple method that is able to produce incredible
memory power against ‘mathematical’ input and all this is an important core in scientific and
mathematical thinking. When this method is applied to a person's mind, which takes
between four to 10 days for normal students, the learning efficiency of both subjects will
change immediately. Even Mokhdar is cultured as a language of mind, a 12-digit identity
card number can be remembered in less than 0.3 seconds, while others take up to five or 10
minutes.That is why people who practice this method are able to remember many formulas,
problem solving steps, experimental results, statistics, periodic chemical schedules, dates
and historical events such as mountain heights without torturing the brain to memorize," he
said. Mokhdar's method not only makes students powerful and efficient in accessing
Mathematics but when the student's mind is active and high speed, other subjects that
require memory of digits and formulas such as Chemistry, Physics, Historical Science and
Geographic Science can be easily remembered.

2. Sigai Kit

SIGAI stands for SIfir GAris Itamta. It is a ladder made of bamboo or wood that has
branches or pegs on which to stand (Student Dictionary) Sigai is an innovation in
Mathematics recreation that won the Academic Glorious Award from JPN Perak 2001 and
the i-envex participation from JPN Perak 2012. Assist in learning Mathematics for students
who face Numeracy problems. It also helps teachers implement the teaching and learning of
Mathematics effectively. Pupils can master multiplication and division operations without
having to memorize numbers. The Sigai method is very suitable for Level 1 and Special
Rehabilitation students who have learning problems in Linus Mathematics

3. Mental Arithmetics

Mental arithmetics innovation or being known as "A.M.A.R.C" contains the usage of abacus,
mental arithmetic, and rapid calculation. A.M.A.R.C uses the brain as a calculation tool. By
calculating the numbers from 0 - 9 in complex arithmetic integration, it will help the brain to
develop higher potential. This method focuses on stimulating and using the brain.
A.M.A.R.C. believes that children are born with the ability to perform speed calculation, big-
volume memorization, and unlimited imagination. Because of this, A.M.A.R.C. has replaced
traditional teaching method with a new creationary guiding method. When there is no more
memorizing and repeated exercise, the children are able to learn in a happy and natural
manner. Reaching the purpose of potential development. This innovative method is able to
raise the students' interest in studying through the use of sound, light, shade, speed, and
other elements to stimulate the potential of the brain. This also helps to nurture the students
to have self-learning habit and higher concentration.
