ln celebration of the Red Cross Youth month, we are pleased to inform you that we
will be organizing the 3d Chapter Youth Assembly on October 25, 2020, 8:00a.m. -
5:00p.m. via Zoom. The objective of this assembly is to elect a new set of Chapter
Youth Council Oficers that aim to continue the legacy of making leaders as part of
the Rsd Cross' mmmitrnent on continuing youth education and community
development.

I. BACXGROUND

The Quezon City Red Cross Youth - Chapter Youth Council will hold its 3rd Chapter Youth
Assembly with the theme, "HIRAYA: Envisioning the future generation of humanity". lt is
convened biennially as stated on the Constitution & By - Law of the organization with
qualified chapter RCY officers, and members in attendance from all over the city in order to
discuss relevant strategies and plans to continually intensify quality leadership among RCYS
and develop youth programs for the future. The Chapter Youth Assembly, which is highly
participatory is designed to draw the youth's interest in bringing out the best in them.

The eledion of the Chapter Youth Council Officers will be held online via different platforms
depending on the preference of delegate. On the other hand, the elected CYC Officers will
represent the youth sector in the goard of Directors and will lead the implementation of Red
Cross Adivities. They will work together with the Philippine Red Cross - Quezon City Chapter
in the implementation of policies, programs and services ofth€ Red Cross Youth. The Chapter
Youth Council will set its policiet activities and projects upon approval ofthe Executive Youth
Committee that will develop and build capacity to all Red Cross Youth Councils.

II. ACTIVITY DETAILS

A, Assembly

The Assembly is one part of the activity that aims to present the
accomplishment report of the outgoing Chapter Youth Council Officers, discuss
and amend the existing Constitution & By - Law, and to offer different talk
which is relevant to today's happenings.

Date & Platform

Date: October 25, 2020

Time:1pm to 5pm

Platform: Zoom and will be aired live in Facebook

B. Votint
The voting for the new set of officers will be done simultaneously with the
assembly from 8a.m. to 4p.m. A Google Form will be sent to the participants to
know their preferred platform (e.g. Google Form, Messenger through QCRCY'S
Official Facebook paSe - Ang Kalasag, text message, or call) for voting as we
consider those who lack internet connection. The Nomination and Eledion
Committee (NOMELEC) will oversee the voting.
