WHAT IS MOTIVATION
Definition:-
The act or process of stimulating to action, providing an
incentive or motive, especially for an act.
Motivation is the word derived from the word ’motive’ which means
needs, desires, wants or drives within the individuals. It is the process
of stimulating people to actions to accomplish the goals. In the work
goal context the psychological factors stimulating the people’s
behavior can be -
They are giving exciting opportunities and reward them for their
accomplishments. As much as possible, they give them job
assignments that they’re either good at, are interested in, or can have
fun with. They are giving every opportunity to prove how good they
are. And once they’ve proven their worth or even exceed google’s
expectations, acknowledge them. They arranged the exiting prizes to
conducting award ceremony. And giving the public recognition.
LEISURE. Pool tables, video games etc. are available in many areas.
IMPORTANT OF MOTIVATION
Motivation is a very important for an organization because of
the following benefits it provides:-
The level of a subordinate or employee does not only depend upon his
qualifications and abilities. For getting best of his work performance, the
gap between ability and willingness has to be filled which helps in
improving the level of performance of subordinates. This will result into-
a. Increase in productivity,
b. Reducing cost of operations, and
c. Improving overall efficiency.
