About OneBudd:

OneBudd is a Canadian technology company that is on mission to revolutionize the way that
cannabis is bought in Canada. We have built a cannabis marketplace that allows users to find
retailers in their local area and shop their menu for reserve and pick up as well as delivery
depending on the province. Our model is similar to Skip the dishes, however, not only are we
centered around cannabis but our platform is also a community where users can learn about
what cannabis has to offer through a variety of interactive content such as custom videos and
articles. Currently we have over 130 hundred stores on our waiting list with 30 stores currently
working with us. We expect rapid growth now that the foundation of our software has been
finished and have some big plans for expansion in the coming months.

Our company is seeking to hire a skilled Software Developer to help with the development of our
current expansion projects. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around building software
by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, improving the softwares
performance and performing API integrations with new strategic partners. You will also be
involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers
or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of programming languages
specifically Laravel which is an open sourced PHP web framework as well as the software
development life-cycle and machine learning algorithms. A Bachelor's degree in computer
science or related degree is required.

Software Developer Responsibilities:

● Writing code to implement new software

● Coding machine learning algorithms into existing and new software

● Modifying software to fix errors, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.

● Directing system testing and validation procedures.

● Directing long term development strategy

● Ability to manage developer team and long term software development strategy

Software Developer Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.

● Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.

● The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

● Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.

● Creativity is always a plus.

● Must be a full-stack developer and understand concepts of software engineering.

● Experience working on a variety of software development projects.

● Deep programming language knowledge specifically Laravel an open sourced PHP web
framework.

Compensation:

We are still a start-up company and our ability to pay salary is limited. Depending on the amount
of time that can be committed we are offering 10% - 15% equity of our company and a base
salary once the company reaches increased cash flow.
