KA CABLE LAYING, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

spreading the bottom of the trench with 7.5cm riddled soil laying 3x300 sq
mm UG cable along with 30/32.4mmm HDPE Duct for communication cable
carefully using cable rollers, taking through HDPE/GI pipes at road crossing
/ culverts etc., providing identification tags at 5 m intervals filling with riddled
soil or filling sand on both sides of the cable and on the top to a level of
10cm above the cable covering the same with concrete slabs (50 x 25 x
5cm) and refilling the trench completely with soil and consolidating the same
in layers of 15 cm and on the top using hand rollers or as directed by the
owner of road and providing cable route markers at 200m intervals,
providing barricades, signal lights dewatering with pump and motor, shoring
providing 150mm HDPE pipe 2m at each end terminations points ( 1m
1 below the ground level) mounting cable ends after rearranging HT and LT Km 17
lines if necessary or connecting to RMU/USS, interconnecting with already
laid cables and OH network etc, including cost of all materials, labour,
conveyance, hire charges, road restoration charges payable to various
departments etc. complete, includes construction of Single pole / Double
pole / four pole structure made of Galvanized Rs joist with or without AB
Switch / isolator, with or without Bus bar, providing earthing as per IS,
providing muffing, jumper connections using 150sqmm AAAC, fitting
lightning arrestor, DO fuse as per site requirement with LT & HT
rearrangement for obtaining clearance, providing cut points in the line
wherever necessary including cost of Galvanized nut & Bolt, clamps,
socket, earthing etc. For proper utilization of cable, as per the direction of
departmental officers

Laying of 11kV XLPE, 3C x 300 sqmm UG cable in already constructed

3 cable duct in bridges or wherever necessary as per the direction of Km 1
departmental officers.

Crossing the railway track and laying the 11kV UG cable as per the
4 direction and specifications of Railway authorities as per the direction of Km 0.13
departmental officers after obtaining sanction from the railways.

Horizontal directional drilling along roads for laying 11kV XLPE, 3C x 300 sq
mm UG cable along with 20/32.4 mm HDPE Duct for communication cable
at various locations as pointed out by departmental officers, includes
Survey of site information collection regarding under ground utilities,
sensing of utilities by sensing equipment, pit making, pilot drilling, pre
5 -reaming pulling HDPE duct of suitable size in single roll, pulling 11kV UG Km 1.25
cable through installed HDPE duct, providing barricades and necessary
signal lights, closing of pits with excavated earth including cost of HDPE
pipe, consolidating pit are, including road restoration/supervision charges
payable to various departments, cost of all materials, labour, conveyance,
hire charges etc. complete.

Constructing permanent ducts of size 0.3 x 0.3 mtr ( inner parameters) size
with cement concrete of specification M20, 8mm tor steel adequately placed
or any other specification offered by you with the required strength covering
with concrete slab with markings KSEB on the top with openings at 50m
6 intervals for facilitating cable pulling of adequate load bearing capacity Km 0.75
( about 6 tonnes) re-routing underground utilities detected while
constructing ducts, laying cable along with 40/32.4 mm HDPE duct for
communication cable through the same at selected areas directed by
departmental officers, including cost of all materials

Carrying out the straight through jointing work of 11kV XLPE 3 x 300 sq mm
7 UG cable using heat shrinkable kits conforming to IS NO 13575/1992 with Nos 88
amendments upto date

Carrying out the I/D and O/D end terminations using Push on / heat
8 shrinkable type end termination kit suitable for 3x300 sq mm 11kV, XLPE, Nos 1000
UG cable conforming to IS NO 13575/1992 with amendments upto date

Carrying out the I/D and O/D end terminations using Push on / heat
9 shrinkable type end termination kit suitable for 3x120 sq mm 11kV, XLPE, Nos 50
