General Guidelines for Students in making Integrated OBE Preliminary Examination (Short Documentary)
Subjects: Readings in the Philippine History, Life and Works of Rizal, English for the Profession

1. STRICTLY NO GOING OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME. Shooting, photo shoot, meeting, and gathering with
your classmates or group members personally and outside of your house; or visiting the house of one
of the members is strictly NOT ALLOWED. You may shoot only inside of your house individually and the
leader or assigned person will be the one to gather videos of all members thru email, messenger, or
teams only. The group meetings and other related activities should be done using messenger, Zoom,
MS Teams, or other social media platforms only. Student should also let their parents or guardians
read these guidelines. AGAIN FOR YOUR SAFETY “BAWAL PO LUMABAS NG BAHAY”.
2. The short documentary is a form of short video presentation which aims to educate the viewers about
the subject/discipline in the form of a short video.
3. The group may use any video format to capture or create moving images. Group can also create an
animated video or use photographs and captions to create a visual slideshow. Regardless of the format
used, the goal is it should be creative and has to imply a message.
4. Any multi-media devices (cellphone, camera, dslr, videocam, etc) are allowed in creating the
infomercial or short film.
5. All sources of information, videos and copied materials should be clearly identified and credited using
proper citations. You can visit https://bit.ly/30xa1em or https://bit.ly/3ldduq4 as your guide.
6. The content of the video should include a clear statement of purpose or theme and rich variety of
supporting information which contributes to understanding the task’s main idea.
7. The documentary should be narrated in ENGLISH.
8. Maximum running time of the documentary is fifteen (20) minutes only and must not be lower than fifteen
(15) minutes.
9. If needed, an extra non-student person or member of the family in the video is permitted.
10. The following are STRICTLY PROHIBITED
a. Harassing, bullying, or hateful content. The infomercial or the short film must not promote hatred or
incite violence against individuals or groups based on ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age,
veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
b. Content containing obscene, profane, or offensive language.
c. Terrorist content. If posting content related to terrorism for an educational, documentary, scientific,
or artistic purpose, be mindful to provide enough information so viewers understand the context.
d. Sexually suggestive or explicit content. Content must not include profanity, sexually graphic and
offensive slang terms.
e. Copying or copyright infringement from someone else’s work.
11. All forms given by the professor or instructor should be accomplished by the group members and send
it thru email and MS Teams.
12. The documentary is focused on the topic: Life of Jose Rizal.
13. Export/Save your file in .mp4/.mpeg file only.

15. You need to submit your videos in three (3) ways:

a. Save and UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO IN YOUTUBE. You can use any member’s account, please make sure
that it is not a private video/account.

b. Save and UPLOAD IN FACEBOOK. Upload it in Facebook using the leader’s FB account and tag your
professor with this format:

16. Submit it to your respective teams/channel in MS Teams ONLY. Your professor will be posting it under
“ASSIGNMENT” tab. Each group should submit the ff: (a) Youtube link (b) FB screenshot (c) Video File
17. The output will be submitted ONLY BY THE LEADER per group. He/She will submit it to each of their
professor under each subject they are enrolled to.
18. If one of the members is enrolled in another subject (considering that it is in the same collab group,
he/she can submit it personally to his/her professor) *please see file for collaboration of subjects
19. Deadline of submission is on: OCTOBER 16, 2020 until 5:00 pm ONLY. Submission details will be
discussed by your professors.
