COURSE OVERVIEW OF LEARNING DELIVERY MODALITIES

Activity I

1. What is the main delivery of this course?

Answer:

The Learning Delivery Modalities Course 2 is a task- oriented course. The


delivery of this course is an urgent action of DepEd to this ongoing
pandemic as also part of DepEd’s Learning Continuity Plan. The main
concern of this course is to deliver education to learners especially in remote
areas in these new normal settings by using Self Learning Modules prepared
by selected teachers which are designed for self-study.
And also enable teachers to support each other to continuously improve
their content and pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills, and attitudes.

2. How can this course help ensure that will you able to deliver quality instruction
in the “New normal”?

Answer:

This course will be a great help to ensure the delivery of quality


instruction for it helps teachers be prepared for this distant learning in this
new normal situation.
It helps teachers to gain knowledge, skills and mindset that are
necessary in this new teaching and learning way and to improve the
teaching- learning process.
3. What are the two support mechanisms that will help you with your learning in
this course?

Answers:

The two-support mechanism that can help me with this course are:

1. Attending seminars and webinars conducted by DepEd.


2. Communicate with my co-teachers and school head regarding with this
course.

Answer:

I think the personal characteristics and circumstances affect in


participating this course is my focus and strong determination, time
management, eagerness to finish this course.

2. How can I ensure that I am able to sustain my strength and addressed the
obstacle that will hinder me from completing this course?

Answers:

By having a positive outlook and willingness to learn in this course. I can


overcome whatever challenges I may face to complete this course by spending
time and effort.

Activity 3:

Look for co-teachers with whom you would like to discuss your answers and
reflections with to the questions in activity 1 and 2.

As we discussed with my co-teacher, we shared our views and reflections in


Activities 1 and 2. We learn a lot from collaborative discussion.
We are able to further understand how to be an affective teacher to our learners
in this pandemic. We continue to give quality education to them even though our
learning modality is modular in print. We have to assess our learners by giving an
assessment and remediation.
As a teacher, we must have a positive outlook to achieve and sustain the needs
of our learners.

LESSON 2: ORGANIZING YOUR LAC (Learning Action Cell)

Titled: “The LAC as K-12 Basic Education Program School Based Continuing
Educational Strategies for the Improvement.”

1. Rank the following objectives from easiest to most difficult to achieve and to
improve the essential learning process.

1. What are the three challenges to having a successful LAC? List down and
elaborate.

 Poor internet connection- we really can’t grasp the total discussion in LAC for
we do not have strong connection.

 Time scheduling- It limits our time and difficult to focus in LAC because we
have to prepare SLM’s to be distribute to our learners, submission of reports,
attending webinars and downloading memos.

 Lack of computer knowledge- other co-teachers are having a difficult times in


operating their laptops.

Activity 2:

According to DO 35, 2.2016, a LAC should have no less than 2 but not more
than 15 members each. Get in touch with your designated Coach or LAC Leader in
Forming LACs.

Reflection:

Having a positive outlook in this course, I was able to understand on how to


deliver and sustain the quality education to the learners in this new normal education.
Education must be continue even though we are facing this kind of crisis. We must be
flexible always to serve the learners to give quality education through different
learning modalities.
