Senior Design Project
Design and implementation of a compact, self-balancing personal transportation device for
physically disabled patients, using PID control. It serves as an economical and practical alternative
of short range transportation. Using the optimized balancing algorithm vehicle is able to climb small
hurdles. Additional features such as high speed motors, emission free electric drive, and a zero
turning radius made it a perfect mobility solution.
