C..1a.1.Group Activity:Asynchronous: Implement Marketing Plan (PERFORMANCE TASK)

Direction:
1. Divide the class into six groups.
2. Each group will prepare a Marketing Plan Implementation for their respective group businesses by making a
video presentation / advertisement. Maximum of two minutes and minimum of 1min.

Direction: After watching the video, answer the following questions:

1. What are the five practical strategies in selling?

a. Authority/ Expert
b. Make other people to like you
c. Give and Take
d. Principle of Social Proof
e. Scarcity

2. Choose two strategies that you think you may be able to use in your group’s business venture. Explain
why.

- The strategy we want to use is the principle of social proof because of the fact that if many people is
buying our own product which is the pandesal other people will tend to buy our product as well. If
many people are buying our products, we don't need to convince other people that our product is
good. People has a mindset that if everyone is buying that product it means that our product is good.
The other strategy is scarcity because of the fact that pandesal is just for morning food so as a owner
we are giving deadlines every day because the customer will feel that they will lose something if
they don't acquire that product. Especially they will lose their own cravings if they not reach our
deadlines.

3. What are the Tactics mentioned? Explain each.

 Proving your own credibility- this tactic can make people trust you because of the fact that you
are stating your own experience and basing in science. People will actually buy your own
product if you also have certificates or permits that people can see as a result people will trust
you because they know that you are authorized or entitled seller with this tactic people will buy
because they know that your product is credible and effective, having those certificates means a
lot to many people to avoid buying fake products.
 Compliments - this tactic can make people fall in love with you or with the product because you
are building a connection with the buyer. Compliments makes the buyer comfortable enough to
the seller because in the world of business connection with your buyers is the most important one
to be successful.
 Coordination - by coordinating with your seller it means a lot because the most important thing is
your connection between the seller and the buyer. Give the types of the product that the buyer
wants in order to sell. Then the buyer will like you for coordinating and giving what they want.
 Similar to the buyer- this tactic can make the buyer likes you because having a small talk about
your similarities can make the buyer comfortable talking with you and they will have the interest
to talk to you more and especially with the product.
 Return the favor- if we take something from the buyer, we should always return the favor to
them and giving them good customer service.
 Free Taste- this tactic can make people buy your own product because if they had the
opportunity to taste the product the chances of buying it is high because of the fact that they
witness with their own tongues that the product is good. They will buy because of their
experience in tasting it.
 Be the first to give- this tactic can build a connection between you and your customer because
you are treating them not just a customer but as a friend as well. It is also an act of love which
customers will like about the attitude of the seller.
 Idea of Potential loss- this tactic is different with others because because the seller is stating what
you will lose than stating what you will gain. This tactic can make people buy because they will
feel that they'll lose something if they don't buy it.
 Deadline Tactic- this tactic can make people feel that they will lose something if they don't
acquire the product with the right time.
 If others are doing it, then are more likely doing it - this tactic is one of a kind because if many
people is using this product people will tend to buy the product as well because we know that the
product is good because many people are using it. Many people don't want to be left behind they
want to be the same like everybody else.

4. What tactic will you use in your group’s business venture?

 Free taste tactic, because if they able to taste our product if it is good then they will buy
it. It depends on their experience in tasting it, they will be convinced to but the product
because they witness the true taste of it not depending on other people's taste. There's a
high possibility that the customer will buy, because they test if it is delicious or not.
