Anna University, Chennai is organizing Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme 2010-11
(TNSLPP), for the Present Final Year (2011 Passing Out) MBA Students studying in Self Financing
Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu.

M/s Tata Consultancy Services, has kindly agreed to participate in this Placement programme
on 8th & 9th February, 2011 for Chennai Zone. Centre for University Industry Collaboration, Anna
University Chennai is conducting this programme at S.K.R. Engineering College, Agaram Village,
Nazarathpet (Post), Poonamallee, Chennai - 602 103 for the 2011 Passing Out MBA Students.
As per the eligibility criteria,
o Finance / Marketing / Operations / Systems / IT / HR / Information System & Security
with any Bachelors of Engineering / Technology in Graduation Level
o Consistent 60% aggregate from 10th onwards
o To have cleared all subjects in the MBA with no standing arrear
o Candidates with break of more than 2 years in academic career will not be eligible to
apply
o Only Full Time courses will be considered
o No break in studies permitted
It is requested that the Principal / Placement Officers of the College should send the list of eligible
and interested candidates after verifying the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attend
the campus placement on or before 3rd February 2011, as per the specified format enclosed.

All the eligible candidates have to pay one time Registration fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven
hundred and fifty only) each in the form of a Demand draft drawn in favour of “The Director, CUIC,
Anna University Chennai” payable at Chennai.

Candidates should submit the Annexure-I form along with the Demand Draft to the CUIC
Staff Members camped at S.K.R. Engineering College, Chennai - 602 103 on 08.02.2011 at the time
of registration.
The Principals / Placement Officers are requested to direct all the eligible candidates who have
been satisfying the terms and conditions mentioned in Annexure–II to report at S.K.R. Engineering
College, Chennai - 602 103 on 08.02.2011 at 7.30 a.m.
REGISTRATION OF APPLICANTS:
It is compulsory for all the candidates appearing for the TCS recruitment process and the
students who have obtained the Passbook and yet to obtain the Passbook are directed to register
through On-line on the TCS Careers portal (http://www.careers.tcs.com > Entry level – Direct
Applicants) and get the unique DT reference id and note it down when you come for the On-line
Test on the specified venue.

Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme

Terms and Conditions

1. As per the mandate of the Anna University Chennai, students who have already placed in
any organisation through Campus Recruitment are not eligible to attend the Campus
Interview.

2. As per the notification of visiting Organisations, the candidates who have already
appeared for On-Campus Recruitment of that particular Organisation are not eligible to
re-appear again in the State Level Placement programme.

3. All eligible students take part in the Campus Interview process for the first time have to
register by paying a one time Registration Fee of Rs.750/- in the form of Demand Draft
in favour of “The Director, CUIC, Anna University, Chennai” payable at Chennai.

4. Candidates should furnish the photograph duly attested by the Principal of their college.
(Annexure I)

5. Candidates should bring the attested Xerox copies of SSLC, HSLC, Diploma and Degree
semester mark sheets for verification.

6. For attending the Campus Interview, the candidates should make their own arrangements.

7. Registration, Validation and Test will be conducted on Day one. The shortlisted
candidate will have the interview on Day one / two.

8. Those candidates selected through State Level Placement by a company should not attend
the subsequent Test / Interviews to be conducted by other companies.

9. Students who have appeared for the On-campus or Off-campus interview of the
concerned company within the time period of six months are not eligible to participate in
the concerned organization drive.

10. Any irregularity / Mal practices / in any form of recommendation will be treated, as
disqualification and Anna University Chennai will take serious action against those
candidates.

11. The decision of the Director, CUIC will be final in all matters.

State Level Placement Programme – 2011 MBA Passing Out Student at the following points:

1. Guindy Railway Station at 6.30 a.m.

2. Poonamalle (Opp. to Bus Stand) at 6.30 a.m.

3. Koyambedu (Near Lanson Toyota Showroom) at 6.30 a.m.

4. Shuttle Service between Pettai Bus Stand to S.K.R. Engineering College from 7.00 a.m.
