6. FIELD TEST
The field tests of the implement comprising of dry and wet land operations
were conducted for 2l-43 to 15.25 hours respectively at different soil moisture
conditions to assess the performance of the implement. The details of tractor
used for field operations are given in Annexure-I.
The tractor pto speed was observed at 540 rpm. The performance of
implement is reported in Annexure-Il and summarized in Table-3-

10.8 The average pto power requirement of Rotavator was observed 22.17 kW in dry
land operation and is within the recommended range. Prime mover used was of
36.1 kW pto power hence only 61.41%o power of tractor is utilized.

10.9 The specification of propeller shaft does not conform to 15:4931-1999. This
should be modified according to BIS requirement.

10.10 The dipsticks for oil level check, must be provided on gear, reduction unit.

11. LITERATURE

The manufacturer has provided the single booklet containing the specification of the
implement, operating instruction and the information of repair and adjustments.
However, this booklet needs to be moilified by incorporating all relevant
specification, parts list and service instructions as per IS: 8132-1999 for the guidance
ofusers and technical personnel.
