The Interview (Script)

In this file, you must create the script or dialogue for your “job interview”.
Example: one member of the group (the employer) asks questions to one
candidate for the job (candidate 1), he asks the same questions to the other
candidate (candidate 2) at the same time. In parentheses write the location.
Example:

(In the office)

The employer: Welcome to “RMA Company”, it’s a pleasure to have you here, I’ll
make you some questions to both about you. Them I’ll decide who will get the job.

The employer: Good morning.

Candidate 1: Good morning.
Candidate 2: Good morning.
The employer: What is your name?
Candidate 1: My name is Pedro.
Candidate 2: My name is Pablo.
The employer: How old are you?
Candidate 1: I am 27 years old.
Candidate 2: I am 30 years old.

Now, make your script or dialogue. The text must contain 200 words at least.
Use simple present in most of the dialogue. Do not add pictures.

My name is Diana Londoño, I will make the interview today.
Candidate 1: Good morning.

The employer: What is your name?

Candidate 1: My name is Stefanie Iglesias.
Candidate 2: My name is Giovanny Esquivel

The employer: How old are you?

Candidate 1: I am 34 years old.
Candidate 2: I am 26 years old.

The employer: Who do you live with?

Candidate 1: I have my mom, four sisters, my husband and a son.
Candidate 2: I live just

The employer: Tell me about your family

Candidate 1: I have my mom, four sisters, my husband and a son.
Candidate 2: my mother has a hardware store, my father is staff; I have two
brothers, Andy is a business administrator and Fred is an artist and plays in a
band.

The employer: What studies do you have?

Candidate 1: I studied business administration and I study psychology too.
Candidate 2: I am a student of Social Communication and journalism, I am
currently in the fifth semester

The employer: Tell me about your work experience

Candidate 1: As work experience, I have worked with several companies selling
home products such as furniture, dining rooms and other accessories.
Candidate 2: I have experience in the administrative area, also in the
communications area and currently I also work as an ambassador for a beer brand.

The employer: Tell me... Why do you want to work here?

Candidate 1: Because It is a company that I am sure I can learn a lot of things and
I will have the opportunity to grow up personally and professionally.

Candidate 2: ok, due to the fact that it´s a big company where I above learn about
of global marketing, and I above give you my consciousness.

The employer: What information do you have about this company?

Candidate 1: As I know GE is a Multinational that has one of the best brands in
home appliances.
Candidate 2: which is a multinational that covers the entire global appliance
market and has the highest annual income.

The employer: Why do you want to get this job?

Candidate 1: I want to get this job because I really like the brand and I have
experience in sales of this type. In addition, the schedule fits my lifestyle.
Candidate 2: because I feel that I adjust to the brand professionally, besides being
able to work in the area of communications for a multinational is a big challenge for
me

The employer: What do you think are the best for this job?
Candidate 1: I think I am the best for this job because I am sure I have the
necessary skills to sell household products, due to my great affinity and interest in
home environment.
Candidate 2: I think I am the best since I have a strong knowledge in my area of
communications work and everything that has to do with advertising

The employer: If the company give you a budget to use in a social project, what
do you choose to?
Candidate 1: I would use this resource to carry out recreational days in low-
income hospitals where children who are hospitalized have activities such as plays,
puppet games, etc., a program similar to that of Dr. Claun.

Candidate 2: The resource would be used to bring people with the brand, it could
be a social day with the workers doing some kind of bazaar where one of our
appliances can be delivered to a vulnerable population to improve their quality of
life

The employer: Where do you see in five years?

Candidate 1: In 5 years, I see myself as a great saleswoman not only nationally
but internationally and to live happy with my family.
Candidate 2: I see even working for this company growing personally and
professionally and maybe finishing some kind of specialization or doctorate

The employer: What are your strengths and weaknesses for this job? 
Candidate 1: My strengths are that I am organized, committed and responsible at
work and I know how to work in a team.
My weaknesses are that I am a little shy and another one is that I want to make my
work as soon as possible but when I cannot for any matter, I get desperate.
Candidate: 2 My strength is that I am very dedicated to what appeals to me and
my weakness is to be very perfectionist with the things I do.

The employer: What is your salary aspiration?

Candidate 1: according my studies and experience, mi salary aspiration is
2.500.000 Colombian pesos.
Candidate 2: according to my work experience, knowledge and studies a salary of
4,000 USD
