AIESEC CHANDIGARH:-
Formed in 1988 by AIESEC Delhi IIT, AIESEC Chandigarh has 20 glorious years of impacting the youth of
today.AIESEC Chandigarh is one of the most dynamic chapters in AIESEC in India. It has grown from
infancy to a stage of vitality in the last few years and presently has a membership of 110 students from
various colleges in the city. We are one of the certified LC’s of the world. In 2008 we did 124 student
exchanges from across the globe. We have made the first strong steps for the growth that we have been
looking for, with the implementation of short-term-action-plans to generate activities, knowledge and
experience in the LC.Now, with the first steps done, AIESEC in Chandigarh needs to work with the
knowledge and experience generated in this period. We need to realize more external events, to
increase the human resources meanwhile applying the design team output and continue with the X
growth as well as the implementation and generation of more eXchange-Based-Projects. We encourage
you to take the challenge and live your dreams by working as part of the AIESEC PBOX using your
strength, courage, knowledge, experience and the ambition of continues learning to drive the growth
needed.

Project Vision:-
Students develop leadership skills and encourage them to
self-development, expanding their worldview and inner world. .

Project Objectives:-
• improve communication skills with peers;
• clarification of objectives and priorities in
their lives;
• increase mutual understanding with parents
and peers;
• ability to harmoniously run into the team,
team work and interact in a team;
• increase the overall level of skills, including
the ability to overcome difficulties.

As a participant in the project, the teenager:

- Learn about the different types and styles of leadership;

- Development of the initiative increases the readiness and willingness to take responsibility;

- See what teamwork;

- Defines the scope of individual success and competence.

Training will be held in the form of games, simulations, discussions, lectures. The planned film
screenings and presentations.

All classes are designed using new psychological techniques and is the most practical and
interesting.

All sessions (games, workshops, discussion clubs) are held by foreign young coaches in
English.
The curriculum covers a wide range of topics. Among them are:

o Effective communication and emotional
o Speaking
o Time Management
o Setting and achieving goals

Additional Services provided by AIESEC

 Facilitates the VISA formalities for the intern, arranges for accommodation for the trainee’s
accommodation.

 Prepares the intern for his/her traineeship before he/she arrives in the country by sending
additional information about India and about the organization as well as information specific
to the AIESEC local committee and the city where the traineeship will take place.

 Receives the trainee and integrates him/her into the local environment.

 Introduces the trainee to the organizational In charge of him/her and liaises between the
organization and the trainee to set expectations and evaluate the traineeship at various
points along the way and ensure that the traineeship runs smoothly.

 Ongoing integration activities for interns involving them so that they get the best experience
in India during internship.

 Regular quality evaluations for company and intern at pre-decided timeframes and clear steps
for further enhancement of quality of internships.

 Consolidated measurement reports by AIESEC in Chandigarh on the actual impact the interns
are making on the company and profiling of the same in AIESEC’s National and International
conferences and virtual communication tools.

Cost Structure

 Our services are very cost effective to any organization.


All you have to pay is:
 Provide accommodation to the intern in city or Give stipend to the intern so that he can over
his accommodation expenses in it.
 100 Rupees per student that enrols for this program.
