Academic Background

I studied at the University of Damascus at first a general geology And

then applied geophysics That is to say, I have wild geological
information, which made me good interpreting geophysics

The geophysics is the science who studies the Earth using the effect of
physical fields and response the rocks about this field like magnetic or
seismic methods. Some geophysicists spend most of their time outdoors
studying various features of the Earth, and others spend most of their
time indoors using computers for modeling and calculations. Some
geophysicists use these methods to find oil, iron, copper, and many
other minerals. Some evaluate earth properties for environmental
hazards and evaluate areas for dams or construction sites. Research
geophysicists study the internal structure and evolution of the earth,
earthquakes, the ocean and other physical features using these
methods.

Although strong academic course work is the most important element of

training to be a geophysicist, students interested in geophysics can also
benefit from obtaining first-hand experience in the field itself. Access to
such experiences depends largely on where you live. If you have access
to local field trips conducted by academic or government organizations,
they would expose you to the sorts of things geophysicists are interested
in.

I have worked as a seismic interpretation for more than two years in an

Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC) also I had some courses in ALfurat
Petroleum Company (AFPC). I have been well trained on several
interpretation softwares and gained many of seismic interpretation skills

Study Plan in China

I wish study Master's degree to research about Seismic methods that

include acquisition seismic data , Processing and interpretation the result
maps and using methods during the study likes Depth migration or AVO
analysis or seismic inversion. Able to practice using equipment like
seismic recording systems, and computer interpretation seismic programs
like Petrel or Geoframe.

After I am doing these steps whish finally create static interpretation, I

hope jumping to the next move which is Dynamic interpretation using
program like Eclips.

And During study The interpretation Seismic data method I will have
study Geological features as A Geoscience and how it show on seismic
sections.

Also I want to study some mathematical method like neural network and
applied on seismic interpretation

include steps:

 Field methods and data processing.

 Applying AVO and depth migration on processing seismic data.
 Interpretation reflection waves.
 Building static and dynamic modeling.
 Geoscience interpretation.
 Advanced methods in the interpretation
My Personaly:

My sceince life created a distinct path, which has made me the person I
am today. I always had interest in sciences, especially, earth sciences. At
my free time, I would take surfing on the website for researches about
my field study .

Even when war start at my country and had some difficult to went to
collage especially at my final year it wont stop me from studying. as a
result, my performance in earth sciences was always at its best. Practical
sessions were the best for me.

A lot of chinese petroleum exploration company in my country like CNPC
