Introduction

In business, expansion is a significant notion considering it can generate more sales and

profits. This can also attract further customers that can contribute to the advancement of the

business. When business is extended and hired the ablest people, it automatically gains an edge

over the competitors. Still, in this case, acquiring another restaurant that can cater to wider

consumers while settling it alongside one's initial restaurant might have both convenience and

drawbacks. To accommodate and assist more customers notably if the other restaurant is already

full is deemed as a huge gain. On the other hand, the lack of customers to fill both of your

corresponding establishments, one of the restaurants would be unable to achieve the target thus

occurring an impairment in the business.

Enabling one's self to equip the obligations of being a manager of two restaurants is an

honor whereas I, as a manager, seeks to efficient facilitation of both said establishments for a

continuous offering of quality food service to customers. Planning as a management function can

largely support me to perform my duties as a manager together with the staff in the management

that will be guided as we both exhibit our finest performance. Any business considers planning

as a vital manner to manifest proficient results whereas effective decisions are implemented that

will play an immense part in reaching the business' objective.

Body

One of the basics of management functions is planning. This makes sure the

maximization of the resources available for production. All things have blind spots hence

planning can provide solutions to expose the flaws of each situation. Simultaneously managing

two restaurants while utilizing planning to run it effectively can lead to an accomplishment of an

establishment's purpose. Also, newly hired personnel that has job experiences in restaurants is a

means to make the work easier. Deliberate planning can definitely help to solve every single

problem that can possibly arise that will sort out the situation thus withdrawing panic. This will

prevent any unnecessary occurrences in both restaurants. It is guaranteed that all the set

objectives will be aimed no matter what comes in the way. Planning will make things possible.

Corresponding goals will be set for the entire department to be motivated.

As I was appointed as the manager of two restaurants, composing plans automatically

stretched up to my mind because for me, the initial thing I will do if I am to be introduced in a

new work-environment is planning. It is highly fundamental for certain occasions, especially in

business. In any form of establishment, it is ought to form a strategic plan to circumvent

stumbling into blocks that will hinder progress. The specified purpose must remain as it is plus

still be succeeded even after merging the other restaurant. Great accommodation even though

both restaurants are packed with consumers will be the establishment's prime priority.

Concurrently overseeing two restaurants filled with demands may be difficult as it looks yet

employing a standard system will make it light. Making a plan is executed every day, before and

after working hours, to prohibit any conflict that may suddenly befall. Upstanding execution is

what both businesses are obliged to not attain loss. Furthermore, planning is affiliated with

communication; it is regularly a necessary ingredient to a prosperous organization whereas

measures must be tackled properly, and no step must be skipped.

Conclusion

Leading a sole establishment is one thing. However, leading merged restaurants is

another thing. It is perceived as a tough job for the reason that the manager's duties are doubled.

Still, it will be beyond flourished if you plan ahead. To make one's business extension

substantial, planning is a principal tool that is required to be applied. It is assuredly the assistance

provider for the two restaurants. Even so, planning alone may not work adequately as opposed to

creating a strategy together with the entire personnel and be able to extend up with much further

practical concepts. As Stephen R. Covey said, “Make time for planning: Wars are won in the
