4. Rationale for the inclusion of the course/module in the programme :
Businesses in an increasingly globalized world have to cope with the rapid movement of goods and people
across a borderless world. Business managers must be equipped with not only conceptual knowledge but
also skills to function effectively in the global world. This course will enable students to develop these skills
and apply their knowledge through a variety of activities like case studies and projects that simulate real
world challenges.

An in-depth analysis of the issues facing international business industry today. Current issues affecting the
international business industry, problem analysis through various strategies and multidisciplinary,
discussion and explanation of contemporary issues. Concentration will be on strategic thinking, decision
making and creative solutions formulation.
