TRIALSUN‐HYBRID
SOLAR ROOF‐MOUNTED MODULAR SYSTEM
TRIALSUN-HYBRID MISSION
The TRIALSUN‐HIBRID solar roof modular system is designed to
replace conventional solar panels.
It is entitled to its acronym as it efficiently integrates all
elements into one unit.
The face side of the tile holds the solar cells and the reverse
one holds the inverter integrated with a battery, thus forming a
complete unit.
The TRIALSUN‐HIBRID solar roofing module makes it very easy
to set up an energy generation system on any building that has
common type of inclined roof.

TRIALSUN‐HYBRID
SOLAR ROOF‐MOUNTED MODULAR SYSTEM
Properties
The device operates on 24 V DC, i.e. lead‐acid battery voltage.
A single TRIALSUN‐HYBRID roofing module system (a roof tile) delivering 250 watts
of power, with a starting power equivalent to 500 watts.
Even a single TRIALSUN‐HYBRID roofing module can be used on its own and is
already able to provide alternating current of 230 V at the time of commissioning.
By using the device, the mains voltage is ensured even when the mains is
disconnected.
No power outages,
no disturbing power shortages,
only the steady performance.
Properties
The roof tile photovoltaic unit consists of
‐ one double‐sized roof tile,
‐ one 30 W solar panel,
‐ one 250 W inverter electronics,
‐ two 12 V batteries with storage capacity 12 A/hr.
Space requirement:
five (5) tiles with the modules of 30 W could be installed on ONE square meter.
To cover the power consumption of a standard family house [in Hungary], it would
do to allocate just 10 square meters of the roof to TRIALSUN‐HYBRID roofing
modules, i.e. to install 50 pieces of TRIALSUN‐HYBRID tiles.
ISLAND OPERATION MODE GRID TIE OPERATION MODE
The apparatus, which is an improved version of the traditional systems, is applicable everywhere and in everyday
usage, enabling simple installation and usage.
It consists of solar cells (N), an accumulator, a current converter (C) establishing a complex integrated power
supply system, and several such systems may be connected together in modular way in order to increase the
output power.
The apparatus produces the required alternating voltage from solar energy in such a way that the solar rays
produce direct current voltage in the solar cells, it is accumulated in the accumulators (A) integrated on the verso
of the solar cells and then transformed into alternating current voltage of 230 V or any other desired voltage
applicable to operate resistive, capacitive and inductive current consumers simultaneously.
The number of units may be increased or decreased without switching the apparatus off, simplifying thus the
installation and application of the systems.
The lifetime of accumulators (A) increases owing to the application of the C.S.P. type ring converter (C) because a
reloading and regeneration takes place in the accumulator cells. The function of operation may be set in a code
table (K).
