Objectives :
i)To provide adequate basic understanding about Management Education among
the students.
(ii) To prepare students to exploit opportunities being newly created in the
Management Profession.
(iii) To train the students in communication skills effectively.
(iv) To develop appropriate skills in the students so as to make them competent and
provide themselves self-employment.
(v) To inculcate Entrepreneurial skills.
Duration :
The Course shall be a full time course and the duration of the course shall be of three
years.
Eligibility :
(i) A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree course in Bachelor of
Business Administration shall have passed 12th Std. Examination (H.S.C. 10+2)
from any stream.
(ii) Two years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., Board of Technical Education
conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
(iii) Three Year Diploma Course (after S.S.C., i.e. 10th Standard) of Board of
Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
(iv) MCVC
(v) Every eligible candidate has to appear for a Common Entrance Test to be
conducted by university.
Medium of Instruction:
Medium of instruction shall be in English only.
Scheme of Examination :
The B.B.A. Examination will be 3600 marks divided into 3 parts as per details given
below:
(i) B.B.A. Part I (Sem I, II) Aggregate marks 1200
(ii) B.B.A. Part II (Sem III, IV) Aggregate marks 1200
(iii)B.B.A .Part III (Sem V, VI) Aggregate marks 1200
There will be written Examination of 80 marks of 3 hrs duration for every course at
the end of each Semester. The class work will carry 20 marks in each course.
Standard of Passing and Award of Class :
In order to pass examination a candidate has to obtain 40% marks out of 100 (Sem-
end exam 80 + class work marks 20 taken together) in each course.
The class shall be awarded to the student on the basis of aggregate marks obtained
by him in all three years (Part I, II and III). The award of Class is as follows:
(i) Aggregate 70% and above - First Class with Distinction.
(ii) Aggregate 60% and above but less than 70% - First Class
(iii) Aggregate 50% and more but less than 60% - Second Class.
(v) Aggregate 40% and more but less than 50% - Pass Class.
(vi) Below 40% - Fail.

B) Marks of Lab Course and Mini Project will be given by the concern college on
the basis of evaluation by the internal teacher.
C) Project Report and Viva-Voce:
Project report will be assessed by the internal teacher at the end of 6th
Semester. Out of 70 marks and there will be viva-voce examination of 80
marks. The panel of examiners will consist of one internal and two external
appointed by the University.

1) Objective of the course:
This is a three years bachelor degree course in computer application
aimed at developing computer professional versatile in use of computers mostly in
business world. The emphasis is to have generality of developing professionals as
programmer, system analysts, database adiministrators, documentation efficer etc.
3) Medium
The medium of instruction and examination will be only English.

• Each question carries 2 marks
• Question paper contains 50 Multiple choice questions.
• 80% through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) & 20% Management Quota.
• Reservation for backward class candidate – the % of Seats reserved for candidate
of backward belonging to Maharashtra State are as per details in the table given
below.
• Candidate belonging to VJ/DT (NT-(A) NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC & SBC
categories should produce Non Creamy layer certificate issued by the sub-
divisional officer / deputy collector of District in addition to the caste certificate at
the time submission of CET application form. Non Creamy Layer certificate
should be valid upto 31st March 2010.
OR
• If the candidate is not able to produce non creamy layer certificate at the
time of submission of CET application form then such candidate will be
treated as general category candidates and such candidate will not be
able to claim on reservation seat in admission process.
• If particular BC candidates are not available for admission as per Quota of the
particular category at the end of second round, other BC candidate would be
considered for admission under inter-seg merit in the third round. In the third
round even if seats will remain vacant due to non availability of BC Candidate
than students from open category will be admitted in the fourth round.
The merit list of the candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by
candidates in entrance examination (SU-CET 2009). Each candidate will be given
merit number on the basis of marks obtained in Entrance Examination.
Relative Merit in case of equal marks -
In case if there are two or more candidates with equal marks in entrance
examination, the percentage of marks at HSC shall be considered for deciding merit
numbers. Even after this, if student continue to obtain equal positions then marks of
English subject at HSC exam shall be considered. Even after this, if the candidate is
continued to obtaining same merit number, his/her date of birth shall be considered
and senior will be given preference.
For the academic year 2009-10, the University Authority shall conduct total Four (4)
rounds of Centralised Admission The CAP shall consist of first three(3) rounds by
Centralised Allotment wherein eligible candidates will fill separate Option forms for
respective rounds. Fourth round of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only
for eligible candidates. Details of eligibility for each round of CAP, method of
reporting after each round, availability of seats for each round and such other details
are given below-
The various stages and procedure adopted for CET and CAP. Candidates seeking
admission to BBA/BCA/B.Sc.(Entire Computer Science) courses are required to
appear for CET 2009 conducted by University authorities.
The candidate has to submit the Application form at the collection centres mentioned
in Annexure II
The candidate is required to paste the recent Photo on the application form and Hall
ticket. The candidate has to submit all necessary documents duly attested by the
competent authorities. The collection centre authorities will verify original documents
along with attested copies.
Candidate will not be able to change the information after submission of application
form to the collection centre.
Candidates will appear for CET 2009 written examination at the designated venue as
mentioned in the Hall Ticket.
Candidates are also required to read the instructions given in the Hall Ticket
carefully.
Stage IV – Declaration of CET 2009 result.
The result will be declared on the university Website as well as on the notice boards
of colleges/institutions.
Submission and confirmation of option form for CAP Round I, II and III.
In order to participate in the Centralised Admission Process ( subject to fulfillment of
the eligibility criterion of respective CAP round), it is mandatory to fill the Option
form for respective CAP round.
Candidate has to submit the Option form at the centers mentioned in Annexure II.
It is mandatory for all candidates to submit the Option form personally at the centre.
The candidate will not be able to change the Options once it is confirmed.
Instructions for filling Option form for CAP Round I
Candidates can give minimum 1 and maximum 5 options. The candidate has to fill
his/her preference along with college name. .
This will be a direct allotment round. At the start of this round, total seats available
for allotment will be CAP seats. The allotment in this round will be done on the basis
of options submitted by the candidate, inter se merit of the eligible candidate and
available seats at that point of time during the allotment stage/process.

• The allotment of the candidates will be displayed on the university website as
well as notice board of respective colleges/ institutes..
• The candidate will report to the allotted college/institute and confirm the
admission at respective College/Institute along with the necessary original
documents and pay full fees. The candidate has to submit original documents
along with attested documents at the time of admission.
• The institute is required to give the receipt of payment of fees and
acknowledgement of admission in the format given by the university to
candidate after completing all formalities as the confirmation of admission.
• If the candidate ( to whom it is Mandatory to report after allotment) fails to
report to and confirm the admission at the Institute , on or before the last
date of reporting at the college/institute the candidate shall lose claim on the
allotment seat. Such seats will be treated as vacant seat for subsequent
round of CAP.
• All candidates who have secured an allotment out of First THREE options will
not be eligible for subsequent CAP rounds irrespective of whether the
candidate confirm the admission or not. Hence such candidates are advised to
confirm the admission at the respective college/institute as per the secured
allotment in the CAP round II since names of such candidates will be
automatically deleted from the subsequent lists of the eligible candidates for
subsequent CAP round.
• Candidates ( other than those covered in above paragraph) who have
secured an allotment which is not out of first Three options and who are no
more interested in participating in subsequent CAP rounds may confirm the
admission by reporting at the respective institute. Such candidates will not be
eligible to participate in subsequent CAP rounds. Names of such candidates
will be automatically deleted from the subsequent lists eligible candidates for
subsequent CAP rounds.
• All such seats, on which the candidates have confirmed the admission on or
before the last date of reporting of CAP Round II shall not be available for
allotment in subsequent CAP round.
Stage IX – Submission and confirmation of Option form for CAP Round III.
• All candidates whose names have appeared in the merit list of such
candidates who are eligible to submit the option form for CAP Round III on
university website.
• Candidate should fill up the options for the College/Institute in which seats
are available for allotment in CAP Round III.
• Seats available for Third Round will be displayed on university website and
notice boards of colleges/institutes offering BBA/BCA/B.Sc.(Entire Computer
Science) courses.
• Maximum 10 options will be available for the CAP Round III.
• Rest of the procedure for submission of option form for CAP Round III is same
as CAP Round I.
• If particular BC candidates are not available for admission as per quota of the
particular category at the end of second round, other BC candidate would be
considered for admission under inter-se merit under round-3.
• It is the responsibility of the candidate to read the information and to see the
notification from time to time on university website as well as notice board of
respective college/institute.
• Student has to attend the CET and CAP Rounds at his/her own costs.
• University authorities reserve the right to make any change in the admission
process.
• If candidate cancel the admission during admission process, he/she will get
the refund after deducting Rs.1000 from the total fees.
• Candidate should preserve the Hall Ticket till the admission process is over.
Note : Candidate should produce original documents for verification but only
attested copies are to be submitted along option form. .
