Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Thoothukudi, (NGO) is under the administrative control of Social
Change and Development (SCAD). The positions are co-terminus with the scheme.

RGP - `9000 Agriculture subject including relevant basic science with 8 years
[6th CPC] experiences in relevant subject Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or
in an equivalent position the pay bond – 3 of `15600 – 39100 with Grade
pay of `5400/ `6000/ `7000/ `8000 equivalent or more remuneration
whichever is applicable having made contribution to research/ teaching/
extension as evidence by published work/ innovations and impact.
(Or)
Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic science with
minimum 8 years experience of high quality postdoctoral research in an
institution / organization as evidenced by at least 6 publications in journals
with NAAS rating of 7.5 or above
b. For Engineering disciplines:
Doctoral degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 6 years
experiences as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent
position the pay bond – 3 of `15600 – 39100 with Grade pay of `5400/
`6000/ `7000/ `8000 equivalent or more remuneration whichever is
applicable having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension
education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact

Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic science with
minimum 6 years experience of high quality post doctoral research in an
institution / organization as evidenced by at least 6 publications in journals
with NAAS rating of 7.5 or above
c. Master degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 10 years
experiences as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent
position the pay bond – 3 of `15600 – 39100 with Grade pay of `5400/
`6000/ `7000/ `8000 equivalent or more remuneration whichever is
applicable having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension
education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact.

1. Prescribed age limit should be restricted to closing date of application:
(a) The relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/Women & Divyang (PH) can be allowed as per
