 God made the first people and breathed on them to wake them up to life.

 The first people were named Adam and Eve. They loved each other and the world around them.

 Most of all, Adam and Eve loved God. Everything was perfect.

 But things aren’t perfect anymore. God had an enemy named Satan. Satan wanted to mess up God’s perfect world.

 Satan tricked Adam and Eve into eating from the one tree from which God told them not to eat.

 Just like Adam and Eve, we mess up and disobey God. This is called sin. Sin is why all our stories have sadness.

 Our sin is a big deal, but God’s love is bigger.

 God promised that one day, someone would come rescue us from sin. Who would it be? It was God Himself!

 God made Himself a baby, born to a young girl named Mary. She named Him Jesus.

 Just like us, Jesus grew up. But unlike us, Jesus never sinned and always loved Father God.

 Jesus started teaching about God’s story and did amazing things called miracles to prove He was God.

 Some people didn’t like Jesus and lied to get Him in trouble and have Him killed on a cross.

 Jesus could have stopped them, but He didn’t. Because Jesus loved us so much, He chose to die for our sins.

 Everyone who loved Jesus was so sad that He died.

 Jesus’ friends cried as they buried Him.

The story begins with God, who has always been.
He has always existed, and He has always existed as He is now.
CREATION FALL
In the beginning, God Man rebelled against a
created everything loving God and believed
to be perfect. There was Satan’s lie. Sin entered
no sickness, disease, into the world and into
or sadness. Everything every heart. Everything
lived in harmony. is now distorted and
broken. Everyone is
Genesis 1:1 guilty before God.
“In the beginning God created
the heavens and the earth.” Romans 3:10
“None is righteous,
no, not one.”

RESCUE
Jesus, who is God, came
to rescue people by His life,
death, and resurrection.
By faith alone in Him,
anyone can have their sins
forgiven and enjoy eternal
life with Him.
1 Peter 3:18
“For Christ also suffered once
for sins, the righteous for the
unrighteous, that he might bring
us to God.”
RESTORATION
Everything will be restored
to the way that it was
supposed to be and those
who trust in Jesus will get
to enjoy eternity in the
new heaven and new earth.
Revelation 21:1, 3–4
“Then I saw a new heaven and a
new earth. . . . God himself will be
with them as their God. He will
wipe away every tear from their
eyes, and death shall be no more,
