Have the students watch a short video clip about light from TV series titled: Young Sheldon. The teachers will ask the
following questions:
1. What is the hot topic being debated by Pastor Jeff and Sheldon?
2. What are the two sides on which light came from?

 Definition of light
 Properties of light
 Light as part of the Wave-Particle Duality
Identify whether the following statements describes light as a form of wave or particle and explain why.
1. Light consist of massless pockets of energy called photons
2. Light undergoes reflection, refraction, and diffraction.
3. Light travels fastest in gas and slowest on solids

Sometimes, people get so lost in life that they find it hard to get their lives together just like a sailor who is lost in the
middle of night at the sea. But sailors had hopes of finding their way with the help of a lighthouse which shines the
