Purpose: 

To ensure the full potential growth of toddlers by promoting good nutrition in toddlers to maintain a healthy weight,
stabilize moods, sharpen minds, and avoid a variety of health problems and achieve regular mental and physical
development to provide long-term positive outcomes.

Goal:

After four (4) hours of lecture and demonstration on nutritional health in toddlers, the participants will be able to gain
more knowledge in obtaining adequate amount of essential nutrients through a healthy diet, considering the
components of a child care environment that promote healthy eating, helping toddlers develop healthy eating
behavior and consuming appropriate quantities and types of food for the toddlers to achieve optimal growth, health
and development.
