HAND OVER

WELCOME ON BOARD!!!!!!!!

MAIN ENGINE:

Since I join on board as third engineer we found problem regarding main engine.

We uncounted also few time to replace the lube oil filters of main engine because the pressure dropping
less more then normal range.

The turbocharger of main engine I observed the leakage on the back side.

Lube oil purifier of main engine sience 10 january run only few days until end of that month

Lube oil purifier start to work continuously from beginning of the march until end of the april and after
run continuously from end of the may till now.

After 2 weeks we pull out the piston NR 3 because the piston rings inside was in very bad condition, only
one remain in good condition the piston ring nr 1 other one was missing and broke.

We replace exhaust valve piston rings and stuffing box.

Regarding the other piston rings from other pistons of main engine was small crack or catted.

During our sail when I still was third engineer we pull out piston nr 1 in Las Palmas because the piston
rings from this unit became more worst .

We replace piston rings and stuffing box.

After replacement of stuffing box we observ the stuffing box still have leakage.

When we came back from Africa to Europe we encount few time the rpm of the main engine didn.t was
steady as per bridge telegraph and conking from same of exhaust valves.

During our anchorage in Amsterdam we pull out the piston nr 2 and nr 4 we replace the piston crown
with new spare and we install also with new piston rings and stuffing box without exhaust valve
overhaul .

The measurement of clearance from piston rings and also the linear didn.t was done real.

In that time the piston rings from nr 5 and 6 was in bad condition because was big peace’s broke from
piston rings on both unit.

The puncture valve and injector was replaced only from same unit not all of them.

Sience I came onboard I observed the rack of the fuel pumps had been adjusted for maintaining the
exhaust gases in range .
From 01.06.2020 I was promoted as second engineer and after departure from loading port we start to
encount problems regarding rpm and exhaust gases of main engine
