 Background: State Public Secondary School. This particularly school is situated in Villa Facundo, it´s address is 2501, Roque Saenz Peña Street. In Resistencia – Chaco.

 Students Background: Students have English two days a week. Class: 3° year 1° division; they have few technical and material resources to work in this particularly subject. It can be said that the English
level of the students is very low since most of them don´t have access to internet resources and just a few of the students’ study English in external Institutes.

 Teaching Points:

Language exponent: Vocabulary of adjectives + Regular Superlative form

Lexical items:  rules to form the regular form of Superlative Adjectives.

Previous knowledge: Present Simple; verb to-be; adjectives; vocabulary: means of transport, family, animals.

 Aim:

By the end of the class, student will be able to identify the new vocabulary.
By the end of the class, student will be able to apply the rules of the Regular superlative form of adjectives to be applied in different exercises given by the teacher.

 Anticipate problems:

Students cannot know how to order adjectives.


Students cannot recognise the new vocabulary.
Students may have issues to understand and apply the appropriate structure of the superlative form of adjectives
Devises (notebook and projector) may not work properly.

 Possible solutions:

Teacher makes a chart to show how to order adjectives. (Alternative poster to be used in case of students need).
Teacher presents more pictures as an example.
Teacher show and explain the rules to form the structure of superlative forms.
Students use the dictionary (manual or technological kind) in order to get the unknown meanings of particularly words, in case of doubts about the meaning teacher also may guide to them.
Teacher use as plan B (in case devises don´t work properly) some posters to be set on the blackboard in order to show students the content and explain the exercises given in a photocopy.

transport?
Teacher answers and writes it on the board- the plane is the fastest means of transport in the world. Teacher underlines the superlative
in the sentence.
Now teacher uses the same procedure in the classroom:
- Who is the tallest in this room?
- Who is the friendliest?

Photocopy
Teacher delivers students a photocopy and then teacher explains students the rules to form the superlative of adjectives by
