• Metal Subdivision:

• Installation Subdivision:

plumbing and cable laying-out systems to installation materials in the electrical area.

• Maintenance Subdivision

complete product range for minor repairs and products for servicing, maintenance and care.

Automotive

• Car Subdivision

range offered by these companies, their strength lies in customized, logistics concepts for supply and

Construction
Encompasses all sales units responsible for serving customers in the building and civil engineering industry
and finishing trades. Concentrates on construction companies, roofers, plasterers, stucco masons, dry
construction firms and direct supplies to building sites. Customized logistics solutions are also provided,

Wood

1. Purpose of Test

In July 21st 2008, the client assigned National Material Testing

Institute Darmstadt to conduct a Tensile Test with a total of 30
“Rubber lined split Pipe Clamps Wuerth Profix”, in order to
determine the maximum tensile force and Material failure. All
findings shall be documented in the following report.

2. Tensile load Test and Results

The delivered Pipe Clamps where tested in a Universal Testing

Machine and where fixed without bending. The material was
loaded with axial tensile force till malfunction. The assembly of
pipe clamps in the Universal Testing Machine was carried out
manually by hand. 5 individual tests where undertaken per item.
For each test, the maximum tensile force was determined and
the malfunctions reported. Besides, the tensile force, leading to
the first sliding of the fixing screws was documented. The
results for each item is reported in the following tables 1 – 6,
together with the average value and standard variation. In all
cases sliding of the fixing screws appeared. Pictures 1 – 6
represent a Force – Traverse Diagram of each 5 series of tensile
tests.
