Medical surgical and telemetry patient care technician. Experience also gained working in ICU,
behavioral health unit and inpatient rehabilitation. Shift duties include obtaining vital signs,
recording and documenting I’s and O’s, obtaining blood sugars, turning patients, performing
bed baths and basic hygiene. Communicating and collaborating with RN’s throughout the shift
and providing education for new staff.

helping student transfer to and from wheelchair, assisting with basic hygiene, laundry and
showering.

Global Medical Brigade, University of Arizona Chapter
A week was spent in Ghana helping run health clinics. At these clinics, patients were triaged,
assessed, educated and given medication. Volunteers helped in all areas of care.
