Give FIVE (5) characteristics of normal probability distribution.

Characteristics of a normal probability distribution, the distribution is bell shaped and symmetrical around
the mean, the total area under the curve is equal to 1, the left and right tails of the normal probability
distribution extend indefinitely, never quite touching the horizontal axis and the mean, median & mode are
the same value.

The number of bags lost by a small airline per week is approximately normally distributed with a mean of
