Marketing Apps - First Visit

Features
Use this app to display a marketing message when a customer
first visits the site and display another message when that
customer revisits the site a second time.

The message can be displayed on the top or bottom of the page

and can be used only one time for each page. However, it
applies to all pages, and it is possible to use more than one
marketing app at the same time.

To use the First Visit Marketing app, drag and drop it to the
invisible app zone at the bottom of the page.

When it is dropped in the zone, the app will display a settings

panel with the different parameters, so you can customize it.

Shows a message when the customer first visits the site

Shows a different message when the customer returns to the site.

Settings

• First ON/OFF – Use the toggle to activate and

deactivate the first message. The default is on.

• Put some text here – Type the portion of the first

message that does not include the linked text.

• Put text for new visitor link – Type the portion of the
first message that is the linked text to the URL, but not
the URL.

• Link (URL) First Visit – Enter the URL that the linked
text portion of the first message will link to.

• Open in new window – Use the toggle to request that

the URL page shows in a new tab or window when the
customer clicks the link for the first message.

• Returning Visitor ON/OFF – Use the toggle to activate

and deactivate the returning visitor message.

• Text returning visitor – Type the portion of the

returning visitor message that does not include the
linked text.

• Put text for return visitor link – Type the portion of

the returning visitor message that is the linked text to
the URL, but not the URL.

• Link (URL) for Return Visit – Enter the URL that the
linked text portion of the returning visitor message will
link to.

• Background Color – Select the message box

background color.

• Font Color – Select the message text font color.

• Position – Choose a position for the bar, either top or

bottom of page.

• Height – Set the height in pixels, by increments of 5 or

you can set it manually. For automatic height, set to 0.
The height limit is 3000 pixels.

• Stay open time – Enter the number of seconds that
the message box is visible. After that it will close
automatically.
Enter 0 to force the customer to close it manually.
The length limit is 3000 seconds.
