To be a successful banker, one needs to have some qualities that are focused by banks most
nowadays. This includes from handling customers to having knowledge about banking tasks. Your
duties will incorporate working intimately with customers to decide their financial needs, including
talking about their monetary prerequisites and giving budgetary exhortation, when essential.

Responsibilities as a Banker

• Having a good negotiation skill with the customers of a bank

• Providing helpful financial advices to clients and bosses as well
• Advising small or medium-sized associations about converging with different organizations or
getting different organizations or capital business sectors
• Overseeing customer ledgers, including opening and closing accounts, bank accounts and
supervising exchanges

Executive Summary
These days understudies begin to see their profession in an administration work just after they get
their degree. After completing graduation, I want to apply for a bank job. There is no doubt that bank
jobs facilitate its employees with many services besides giving salary. So, the demand for this
profession is very high nowadays. I would love to apply for this job is for its friendly work
environment, extra services except handsome salary, security of the job etc.
For being eligible for a bank job, you should have the option to impart viably so as to serve and help
an assortment of customers and you should have the option to determine issues rapidly and
effectively, so as to guarantee customer fulfillment. I think this a very challenging task. A bank’s
work environment mainly excites most of us.
An eligible should know the basic communication skills, should have detailed knowledge of related
computer software and detailed understanding on bank related practices, service and product. These
are three basic requirements for a bank job. But there are many other requirements also.
I fit for this job because my study sector gives me a privilege in banking. I do have a good knowledge
about the skills, responsibilities, rules and regulations of a bank and bank job. I have studied in detail
about these things.
For achieving the goal of being an employee of a bank, I need to have a good result in my academic
performance which is very important. One need to have a good knowledge of computer skills and
related software used for bank jobs. So, I need to do some courses related to these skills.
My desired job
Everyone wants a career where there is growth, self-development, economic facilities and so on. Most
of us tend to choose our desired career or profession just after completing graduation. I have already
thought about my desired career which is Bank Job.

Why is it a Bank Job after all?

Well, remuneration is the best motivation to join any industry. The facts confirm that financial
industry offers great compensation to the workers. Banks likewise offer added advantages to their
representatives like least Rate of Interest on advances, Medical advantages, Pension benefits, etc.
Banking Industry has work security just as occupation dependability. Banking area is not any more
restricted to conventional loaning and storing.
With the presentation of most recent strategies and plans in banking industry, this area has gotten
substantially more engaging and testing.
Banking Sector has fixed working hours. It doesn't cause a lot of pressure and worry as other private
positions does. These are the main things for which anyone would want to apply for this job.

The one responsibility that excites me

Working in a bank nowadays is very challenging. The need of the customers is growing, there is too
much competition in the bank sector as well. I really love this rush. There are always deadlines,
targets, tough monitoring in the workplace. This thing excites me very much indeed.
 Why does it excite me?
One can ask why would anyone love a challenging workplace? Well, in my opinion, a person can
learn, grow and thrive working in this type of environment.

One Most challenging responsibility to me

An eligible bank job seeker needs to have many qualities. Communication skill is one of them. Not
everyone of us are very good at communicating.

Why is it challenging though?

A banker needs to communicate with its customers almost every time. They have to explain banking
services to them based on their needs. The whole process of banking highly depends upon
communication. So, it is very important to get oneself equipped with this skill of communication. Not
everyone is good at it. That’s why I consider it one of the most challenging responsibility.

Top three requirements

There are many qualities or requirements a bank seeks in recruiting employees but I am mentioning
the main three of them:
1) Excellent communication skills
Any bank job seeks for this quality in an applicant. Banking procedures highly depends on this factor
because there are hundreds of customers coming to banks for getting the banking services. Bankers
need to communicate with them every single day. So, communication skill for the customer serving
purpose is very much important here.
2) Quantitative and mathematical aptitude
Today’s bank jobs require good knowledge in quantitative and mathematical terms. One must have
good base in this. Otherwise, it will be very tough to understand many things of a bank. Quantitative
aptitude is a significant and exceptionally scoring theme in bank tests.
3) Good enough skill in using computer and related software
The present banking sector depends less on bankers’ own number related abilities and more on
complex PC programs that feed them the data they have to complete certain tasks. You ought to have
a solid information on center PC programs and a fitness for working with innovation for this position.

Why I fit for this job

First things first, I am a student from Business faculty. Our academic courses gave us privilege to
understand the rules, regulations, requirements, laws and many more things related to a bank job. I am
well acquainted with these things. And any bank wants its employee to have knowledge about these.
Therefore, I am very well at communicating and handling customers, got a good understanding at
mathematical and quantitative works as well. I am always keen to learn new things that can help me to
equip myself. I am a person who loves to take challenges and accomplish them well enough. So these
things give me assurance about bank job. I think with these qualities, I fit well enough for this
profession.
5 Steps for preparation:
In the next 4-5 years, I need to do such things that are going to help to equip myself for the desired job
I want. I need to follow some procedures. Among all the necessary steps, main 5 steps are given
below:
1) Need to complete my BBA with a good result. For a good result, I need to do my academic study
attentively.
2) Have to complete MBA also with a remarkable result.
3) After that, I’m going to go for an internship in a bank.
4) During the internship, I need to do some courses related to bank jobs. These bank job related
courses are going to help me in future.
5) Finally, I will prepare myself for the bank job examination.
