ACADEMIC PROJECT

✓ Title :Techniques and analysis for watermarking using inverted bit planes and
coding
Description: Aim of the project work focuses on devising the techniques to watermark
the images efficiently while analyzing the effects of tampering in recovering the original
watermarked image. The work also presented here derives useful methods for Lower
Significant Bit (LSB) based watermarking by suggesting the optimal LSBs to be used
for the same. An initiative is taken towards the usage of combined image data
compression which might improve the channel capacity and reduce the effects of noise
on a transmitted image
✓ Title: Automation of wagon charging and discharging of a tunnel kiln using relay
logics
Organization : Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bangalore.
Description : The main objective of the project is to design control circuit for the
automation on charging side and discharging of the vestibule using relay logics. The
necessity of our project is to ensure safety for the workers in the real time environment
and accuracy in timing thus better reliability of the system is achieved.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
❖ Participated in KNEW-2012,2013A National Level Symposium held at CIT.
❖ Published a paper entitled “Techniques and analysis for watermarking using inverted bit
planes and coding” in the international journal of Electrical, Electronics and computer
systems (IJEECS) in 2016.
❖ Participated in the CIT-VTP short term training on battery maintenance organized by the
Department of Electrical and Electronics CIT, Gubbi, Tumkur.
