Procedure:
The class will graph f ( x )=sin x.
From the graph, the students will be asked to describe the graph, its domain, range,
amplitude and period.
After which, the students will be grouped into five (5). Each group will be asked to
graph f ( x )=sin x and each of the following functions:
1. f ( x )=2 sin x
1
2. f ( x )= sin x
2
3. f ( x )=sin2 x
1
4. f ( x )=sin x
2
5. f ( x )=−2sin x
Enrichment Activity:
Students will be asked to exhibit their critical thinking and reasoning skill as they will
be answer and defend their answers in the Trigonometric Boxing
Practice:
Applying the concepts they have learned, the students will be given functions to graph.
They will work in pairs.
