ACTIVITY NO. 1

My Home, My Community, My Environment

Objectives:
At the end of the activity, you are expected to:
1. Identify different environmental problems present in your community; and
2. Give the effects of these environmental problems to the ecosystem.
Procedures:
1. Kindly evaluate the community where you live. On the response column, mark check ( ) under YES if the
statement is true to your community and NO if it is not.

2. Based on your evaluation on the community where you live, list down at least three (2) environmental problems present in
your community. Write also the effects that these problems can create on the ecosystem. Use the table below as your guide.

Environmental problems in my Community Effects to the Ecosystem

1. Solid waste segregation is implemented. 1. Solid wastes materials are lessened

2. We always experience floods when heavy rains pour. 2. Landslide will occur
