B. Objectives

1. What is the main purpose for this course?


This course provides the students with the techniques to effectively work in organizations. It is
considered important that students know how to behave and interact effectively with people. By apply
the different theories and concepts learned in class, for example, motivation, leadership, group dynamics,
culture, conflict, the students should be able to influence job satisfaction, performance and retention.

2. Briefly describe any plans for developing and improving the course that are being implemented. (e.g.
increased use of IT or web based reference material, changes in content as a result of new research in the

Increasing use of IT for delivery of course materials, case studies etc. and accessing real life examples.

learning are able to be utilized
