The strategic goal of this program is to provide Clinical


ASSOCIATION OF
Laboratory practitioners with a comprehensive preparatory
course focused on successfully passing the ASCP Exam. MEDICAL
The classes are designed to provide each student with criti-
cal resources to help them and pass the ASCP by providing TECHNOLOGISTS
them with educational review materials, updating their cur-
rent skills and knowledge as Clinical Laboratory Scientist,
and Medical Laboratory Technician, and creating a forum
for professional networking.

The structure of each class is presented by proficient and


accomplished team of lecturers through live lectures, while
simultaneously incorporating and encouraging interactive
instructional formats facilitated by course hand-outs, audio CLINICAL LABORATORY
visuals and open dialogues.
SCIENTIST AND
The complete course is an intensive review of fundamental MEDICAL LABORATORY
and current laboratory issues including an in-depth analysis
of regulatory developments affecting clinical laboratory TECHNICIAN
standards. The core subjects covered in this review are:
Blood Banking, Chemistry, Immunohematology, Hematol-
ogy, Hemostasis, Serology, Microbiology, Related Science,
Urinalysis & Body Fluids, Mycology, & Virology, and the Cali- A.S.C.P Examination
fornia State Medical Technology Laws.
