Day 01: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van

You are picked up at Laocai Station in the early morning by our car & driver then
take a 12 km trekking to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority.
After lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank,
we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight in a local
family. Here you have opportunity to sexperience their daily life, work and original

Day 02: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan - Sapa – O/N on train to Hanoi
After saying goodbye to the host family, continue the itinerary on 14 km of walking
to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a
beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest on
the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa.
Transfer to Lao Cai railway station for a night train to Hanoi.

a local family. After lunch, we keep hiking to Ban Ho, the
village lies in the beautiful valleys, home-stay at the Tay
minority house to experience the architecture of their
traditional house on stilts and spend time beside them to

2km walking to a very nice waterfall discovered and named
“the Lavie” by the French during the colonial time in

Khoe village, 20 km further from Mai Chau. Start trekking

the path. Picnic lunch en route. The trek takes about 6
hours to get back to Mai Chau with a lot of stops on the
way. Dinner and overnight in the village.
Day 3: Mai Chau - Hoa Binh - Ha Noi

After breakfast continue 2-hour trek through rice fields, village to get to Tong Dau
then drive back to Hoa Binh. Lunch in Hoa Binh. Afternoon go back to Ha Noi by car.

Departure for Ba Be around 8 Am, passing through the mountainous province - Thai
nguyen. There are superb landscapes with the rice fields in terrace, the paddle
wheels in bamboo on the two sides of the river. Have lunch on road.

Upon arrival at Cho Ra about 1h30 PM, take a boat on Nang river that slips in a
cultivated country before penetrating in a landscape of chalky cliffs whose flank are
characterized by small wild gardens, where hang the lianas and its long roots in
quest of earth. Then enter into the Puong Cave.
The river flows, making up a wonderful site where you can enjoy the stalactites on
foot of this pothole. Continue going by boat to Pac Ngoi - a village of Tay ethnic. The
Tay lives on fishing, rice and corn cultivation.
Their stilt houses with the thatched roofs disperse in the austere surrounding
landscapes. Have dinner and overnight at the Pak Ngoi village, Hoa son home stay.
Day 2: Boating – Return Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast, visit Ba Be National Park then take a car back to Ha Noi . Have lunch
at Cho Ra town, with an optional visit the ATK Zone (Militarize Zone) on the way back
