The ELITE© Instruction program is for martial arts students

who want to become a Nationally Certified Instructor. Some
people want to even become a full time instructor or even
own their own Academy. Some people want to become able to
teach, train or speak in public. If that is you, then this program
is the best complement to the Leadership Program. It includes:
• Certification Training: Weekly classes for instructors to
learn all of the skills and expand of Leadership Class.
• Certification Boot Camps: Where you spend a half day with
a high rank instructor to refine your skills.
• All Fees Included: Save on the total cost of becoming
certified.

Instruction
The proccess of becoming a Certified Instructor is broken down into
three “Levels”. Each level requires “Boot Camp” intensives, 100 hours of
training and teaching time. The goals at each level are:
• Level I - Curriculum - Red/Black Collar: At this level you are
expected to know all the fundamental curriculum “inside and out”.
• Level II - Teaching- Black/Red/Black Collar: At this level you have
completed 200 hours of instruction training and can lead classes,
seminars or any type of instructional situation with groups as small
as 1 to as large as a thousand!
• Level III - Life Skills- Black Collar: You have mastered teaching
and now master the essential life skills of Communication, Vision,
Honesty, Discipline, Respect And Self-esteem for your own
personal growth and to inspire other students to excellence in their
lives!
The ELITE© Instruction Training is the only way to advance in these
certification levels.

These are half day events taught by 5°, 6° and 7° Trainers - some session

Weekly Instructor Coaching Classes
Not only do you get to train on being an instructor but it is designed to be a

win State and World Champion.
Specialty Classes
You get CPR / First Aid and Judging Certifications. These are brought to the
Academies at no charge to you!

Instruction
Q: Why is it not open to everyone?
A: We are looking for students who want to be exceptional. Because this takes a
major commitment from the instructors, we only accept a few members each
month into our ELITE© programs.
Q: How can I do all this and not come in any more days?
A: In your ELITE© Instruction Program your weekly instructor class covers your
material in an intense session at the beginning. That and your regular class is
sufficient for your regular rank progress. You can accelerate your progress by
coming more times (accelerate your rank progress) and assisting in classes to
meet your certification requirements.
Q: Are there any fees after I become Nationally Certified?
A: There are no fees for tuition. You may still advance in rank and there are fees for
graduation. Every three years there is a re-certificaion fee.
Q: I would love to have my own Academy! How do I do that?
A: Once in the ELITE© Instruction Program, you can request a meeting with Master
Moody about the Academy process including becoming a partner in Arizona or
California.

The goal of combat training is to develop the skills against much larger or multiple
attackers. This combines the best of...
• Kickboxing: Kickboxing training in power punching, kicking, knee, elbow and
more... so you will have the force not just to defend yourself, but knock out
much larger attackers.
• Taekwondo: Traditional Taekwondo is still the foundation of basic fighting
though it has a focus on developing overall body condition and technique.
In the ELITE© Fitness Combat program we will expand your basic skills to
generate extreme power by adjusting the techniques and physical drills.
• Jujitsu / Ground Fighting: Fights often end on the ground or end in a
grappling (grabbed) position. You can see this in “UFC” style fighting. You
will train on the ground as well as standing. One of the tenets of Jujitsu is
that the techniques are designed to train at full fighting strength, but don’t
injure you or a training partner - that’s why this type of training is a fantastic
workout.
• Aikido / Hapkido / Joint Locks: These styles use joint locking techniques
to defend against grabs, pushing and standing attacks. They are applicable
to numerous situations, minimize injury to the opponent and actually work
better against larger attackers.

• Knife Defense: Assumption #1 in knife defense is that you will get cut. You
have to go beyond the basic knife defense in regular martial arts training we
will use our own practice knives to develop quick reactions to all possible
attacks.
• Gun Defense: Criminals are cowardly and use guns. Even if they “promise”
not to shoot you its unlikely that you will leave a confrontation unscathed.
You will cover the gamut of defense against guns.
• Pressure Point Control Tactics: Developed for police officers this allows you
to have 100% control of an opponent with minimal force. You will experience
the full force of the techniques so you can apply them.
• Street Fighting Tactics: In a situation where an attacker is armed or
threatening you or your family with lethal force, all “bets are off” and you
have to defend yourself at the highest level.
This is a partial list of the what you will do in the ultimate in combat training.

ELITE© Combat Fitness training also includes advanced and expanded weapons
training with realistic weapons.
• Wood Bahng Mahng Ee Training: Using real wood in training instead of foam
increases the intensity of both the workout and your skills.
• Practice Knife and Gun: You will use as close to a real weapon as is safe.
Realistic equipment is crucial to your ability to react to a realistic situation.
• Knee Pads, Elbow Pads: This is to protect you so you can safely increase the
intensity of the activity.
• Speed Bag Gloves: Allows you to train at higher speed with your hands,
allows multiple parts of your hand to be accurately used for strikes for a
higher intensity workout.
• Boxing Style Training Mitts: For combat punching and kicking.

To be able to defend yourself, you must be in great shape. Our idea of great
shape doesn’t require “6 pack” abs or 2% body fat - it requires a commitment to
continually improving your fitness. That’s it! To do that, in addition to the Combat
Training you will get a...
• Regular Body Assessment: You will track your progress not just by measuring
your weight (which is very imprecise) but by measuring your percent body fat
and other fitness metrics.
• Nutrition: During the ELITE© Fitness Combat training you will know what the
effects of your food intake are so you can make great choices.
• “Hard Core” Workouts: All of the ELITE© Fitness Combat workouts will push
you to (but not past) your current abilities so you can develop new levels of
ability and health.
• Gym Membership: To supplement your training, we include a gym
membership in your program - you only have one membership to pay for! If
you already have one or want the ELITE© Training to be your only workout,
we will gladly credit you for our cost of membership.

Competition
The ELITE© Competition program is designed for martial arts
students who have set their goal to state champ or even world
champ. This program is perfect for students looking for Forms,
Sparring, Weapons or Triple Crown Titles. Its also for students who
want the highest level of martial arts training:
• Forms: Forms at the championship level require attention to
detail, supervised repetition, and the highest standards.
• Sparring: Sparring training will involve strategy, drills and
tactics that are specialized for your strengths.
• Weapons: Weapons training at this level involves deep
understanding of all the uses and defenses of the weapons.
The Competition program is everything you need to become a
champion!
Tournaments
Training to Be a Champion!
Competition
Tournament training is included in the ELITE© Competition program.
Tournaments are all covered in the cost of the program:
• In-School Tournaments: There are up to 4 a year - these are easy ways
to begin performance practice.
• Regional Tournaments: Competition among people across the state
helps students see many different levels of abilities. Usually there are 4
a year plus an additional Black Belt Only Tournament.
• National Tournaments: Spring Nationals (usually held in Las Vegas)
and Fall Nationals (usually at Walt Disney World in Orlando), are
opportunities to compete, PLUS you get to meet Grand Master Lee and
be among the world’s best Martial Artists.
• World Championships: Held every June in Little Rock Arkansas,
“Worlds” is Grand Master’s primary tournament. It begins with the
“Tournament of Champions” and finishes with an enormous 2 day
competiton. While it may seem that it is more difficult to compete here,
remember the size ensures you will compete against people closer to
your own age and rank.
Competition in the ATA is a safe and fun way to develop the skills to be a
great performer at anything you want to do!

Weapons: ELITE© Competition includes weapons, XMA and XMA
Weapons training to supplement your regular classes.
• Regular Weapons Competition:
• At the Colored Belt Level, you get to compete with Bahng
Mahng Ee (either single or double stick), Ssahng Jeol Bong
(single or double) or Jahng Bong. This is a 20-30 second
freestyle with traditional moves.
• At the Black Belt Level, There are 9 weapons forms including
all of the above AND Sshang Nat (Double Kama), Jee Pahng Ee
(Cane) and Sahm Dam Bong (3 Sectional Staff).
• Expanded Weapons Training:
• In ELITE© training we go beyond the basics of the weapons to
individual drills, 1-steps and detailed drills.
This is only a start of the expanded training as part of ELITE©
Competition.

ELITE© Competition includes performance work on forms and being
able to “think on your feet”. This is where we build on ATA Extreme
and ATA Extreme Weapons training to supplement your regular
classes.
• ATA Extreme Freestyle: is the most exciting open handed form
demonstration on the planet. It can include music, gymnastics
and more!
• ATA Extreme Weapons Freestyle: This adds weapons to the
freestyle. You can use:
• ...at Colored Belt you can perform using the standard ProTech
weapons.
• ...at Black Belt you can perform using the standard ProTech
weapons and the incredible ATA Extreme weapons!
Freestyle training is the start of any other significant performance you
may do in your life... and its FUN!

minute semi-private with a maximum of 3 people (likely only
you). This way we get to work more on your individual material,
let you drill on it, and allow your regular classes to have FOUR to

Competition
A: ONE Semi-Private is as effective as one regular 45 minute class because it’s
personalized only for you! Your monthly regular private is as effective as 3 to 5
classes. In this way you don’t need to come to as many regular classes to get
your training in.
Q: Can I continue after one year?
A: If you are accepted you may continue - and you get a reduced tuition.
Q: Why is it only a one year program?
Q: Do I need to do my regular martial arts classes too?
A: It is important to do both because regular martial arts classes are the foundation
for all of your training.
Q: Can I pay monthly?
A: Of course. Talk to us about how to setup payments.
Q: Why do I need different gear and equipment?
A: We are going to do a different, higher level of training in these classes and your
privates. The different gear is for that expanded training and curriculum.
