How impor-
tant is what
we do with
our buildings?
I came from city with a long history and where the con-
text of every project is very important. “A proper building
grows naturally, logically and poetically out all its condi-
tions” Louis Sullivan. I am interested in analyze the city
and the program as the basic step in to start the project.
It is important to have a concept and explore that until the
end of the project. For me that is basic for the architecture.
“Always design a thing by considering it in its next con-
text- a chair in a room, a room in a house, a house in a
environment, an environment in a city plan” Eliel Saariren
What story does tell your building. Can you feel the rhythm?
Each building tells a story. It doesn´t matter how big It is the
project or where is located. Each one has to answer a ques-
tion: ”Why?” Why the project is looks like this. Of course,
each one has different answers, but the response should
be like a story along all the design, from the beginning until
the approach to the area until the detail scale. Everything
should be part of the same story. I start thinking about a new
project combination many skills. I major considerations the
weakness to solve in the land with all the knowledge’s in
Urban design + Architecture design + Structure + Construc-
tion in details + Installation System. Everything work as part
of the problem and the solution and it have to form part of
the same song and feel the rhythm along all the project.
The combination of these theories and have to be part of a
new research asking the question WHY. I strongly believe
that ARCHITECTURE is a COMBINATION of many skills.
Structures-Spatial experience

Who I am and where I want to go
My major influenced are Le Corbusier, for his visionary archi-
tecture, both absurd and pragmatics. Miguel Fisac and Felix
Candela, for their elegant building using engineer techniques
and Bruno Taut, for his extraordinary use of space. I also have
just discover Cecil Balmont, who has show me another form
to develop the architecture, using the structures to conform
an amazing space, and how all this structures are influenced
by elements in natural space. Bringing together architects,
mathematicians, programmers, artists, musicians and scien-
tists, the lab investigates structural systems, delving to the
root of order and patterns, engaging with music, algorithms,
and malignant cellular structure to create abstract concepts
that inspire tectonic forms. I need to explored more about the
experimental approach to research and architectural design
rigorously grounded in multiple, complex realities. I would
like to approach to the debate regarding this diverse dimen-
sion of architecture and the city, t both as cultural realties of
unarguable importance and impact, and as objects of careful
attention, study and investigation. But I consider the master
project of architecture The Sydnay Opera Building because
It combines the impressive form of a sculpture, an amazing
engineer project and an organic project supervise by Frank
Lloyd Wright which respond to the place where it is situated.
I believe that this project is an inspire building for almost ev-
ery architect. Although it is almost imposible to equalize, It
is good to know what sort of architecture you are interested.

Concepts for architecture
Critical, Innovation, Combination
Almost one thousand years after Roman architectural theo-
rems. Architecture afford not just materials but also spaces,
considering each space as an experience, as Bruno Taut
who always used color to enhance architecture and give
it an extra dimension. He knew that color creatred plastic
effect and conferred a specific character on urban space,
which helped settle it into the surrounding landscape. He
strove to use color to broaden the notion of function in ar-
chitecture, in view of creating form to produce a harmoni-
ous building enhanced by a human and artistic dimension.
How can explore to the architecture? Adolf Loos defined
architecture “… only a very small part of architecture be-
longs to art: the tomb and the monument. Everything else,
everything which serves a purpose should be excluded from
the realism of art…If we find a mound the forest, six feet
long and three feet wide, formed into a pyramid, shaped
by a shovel, we become serious and something within us
says, someone lies buried here. This is architecture...”
. It is an inspired form to define the architecture
and I completly agreet with that statement. It is tru-
ly amazing the feeling in an space. Therefore, I am
interested in the exploration of differents spaces.

The concern about the imminent crisis facing

the megalopolis of Shanghai (which trans-
lates as ‘City of the Sea’) – its rising sea
levels. This condition is exacerbated by the
insatiable demand for land that causes ur-
ban densification. Design proposal negoti-
ate the paradoxical dynamic forces of urban
development and environmental change.
We investigate the approach to the urban-
ism within the context of Shanghai, one of
the world’s most rapidly growing, emblematic
twenty-first century cities, as a infraestucture-
buiding. Where the wheather and the actual
political environment play an important roll.

WEDDING LAS VEGAS

Concept Marriage = Path

The project is conducting a series of cha-

pels located in Las Vegas, combining with
other tasks. I proposed a tour that stops at
all the steps that include a wedding through
a propeller where the ramp up and down er-
ratically widening depending on the applica-
tion of its hosts. This ramp is made of con-
crete, to contrast with this massive sculpture
is designed a envelope made from textile.

The ramp covers every step in a marriage,

starting at the bachelor party, groom prepara-
tion, wedding, celebration, wedding night or
even a cancellation in case it was a night of
errors. All uses listed as widening of the ramp
that fails to meet. like a process or journey
concerned. Access is from an elevation-3.5my
goes up as if the earth arose. The “structure” of
our deck is achieved by a series of ropes em-
phatizing the slight enveloped that covers the
building. It also appear a game light depend-
ing on the specific task develop in that space.

Urban Plan.

As a rare exception to the predominantly

uniform, repetitive sites that derive from
the urban models being developed in Ma-
drid’s new suburbs, the municipal land set
aside for sports usage in this competition
had a striking topography and location which
had to define the strategy for our project.
A tennis and racket sports centre cohabits with
a large gymnasium and a thermal area, as well
as another series of facilities: outdoor pool, ser-
vice buildings and car parks. The terraces, in the
manner of horizontal strata, create a sequence
in which the various N-S tracks alternate their

The temporal market is part of a great

centre of Madrid. The temporal construc-
tion is builded while the final project is
finished. It is thinked as an urban recy-
clable instalation transforming the ac-
tual area. Six volumenes are desingned
thus the necessity of several different
markets. The desing respect the urban
area where is located. It is presented as
a city´s torch lighting the square. Af-
ter The new final market is finished , this
will be take apart and the differents part
will be rehused in another situation.
