The concern about the imminent crisis facing


the megalopolis of Shanghai (which trans-
lates as ‘City of the Sea’) – its rising sea
levels. This condition is exacerbated by the
insatiable demand for land that causes ur-
ban densification. Design proposal negoti-
ate the paradoxical dynamic forces of urban
development and environmental change.
We investigate the approach to the urban-
ism within the context of Shanghai, one of
the world’s most rapidly growing, emblematic
twenty-first century cities, as a infraestucture-

WEDDING LAS VEGAS

Concept Marriage = Path

The project is conducting a series of cha-


pels located in Las Vegas, combining with
other tasks. I proposed a tour that stops at
all the steps that include a wedding through
a propeller where the ramp up and down er-
ratically widening depending on the applica-
tion of its hosts. This ramp is made of con-
crete, to contrast with this massive sculpture
is designed a envelope made from textile.

The ramp covers every step in a marriage,


starting at the bachelor party, groom prepara-
tion, wedding, celebration, wedding night or
even a cancellation in case it was a night of
errors. All uses listed as widening of the ramp
that fails to meet. like a process or journey
concerned. Access is from an elevation-3.5my
goes up as if the earth arose. The “structure” of
our deck is achieved by a series of ropes em-
phatizing the slight enveloped that covers the

As a rare exception to the predominantly


uniform, repetitive sites that derive from
the urban models being developed in Ma-
drid’s new suburbs, the municipal land set
aside for sports usage in this competition
had a striking topography and location which
had to define the strategy for our project.
A tennis and racket sports centre cohabits with
a large gymnasium and a thermal area, as well
as another series of facilities: outdoor pool, ser-
vice buildings and car parks. The terraces, in the
manner of horizontal strata, create a sequence
in which the various N-S tracks alternate their

finished. It is thinked as an urban recy-
clable instalation transforming the ac-
tual area. Six volumenes are desingned
