On 02/04/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 700 block of Forest Court (North of East
Forest Avenue) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) pried open the front door to gain
entry. The time of occurrence was between 12:30 PM on 02/03/2011 through 2:00 PM on 02/04/2011. A television
was taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

BURGLARY 11-5538

On 02/04/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 6000 block of McKean Road (South of
Textile Road) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) forced open the front door to gain
entry. The time of occurrence was between 12:45 PM through 4:45 PM on 02/04/2011. Two laptop computers,
digital camera and a black backpack were taken. A neighbor saw a subject walking south from the location carrying
a black backpack. The description is listed below.
Suspect Description: Black Male unknown age, 6'0”- 6'2", dark complexion/ last seen wearing Carhartt style
coat and pants.

FELONIOUS ASSAULT 11-5741

On 02/05/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to a felonious assault that occurred on
02/03/2011. The location of the incident was on Tyler Road near Desoto Avenue (West Willow Park). The deputies
determined the suspect fired two shots, from a handgun, at the victim. There were no reported injuries. The time of
occurrence was on 02/03/2011 at an unknown time. The suspect is known to the victim. The case will be turned over
to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office for review of criminal charges.
