Designer: Don’t use the shade from the header’s colour in contrast with white in
tables. In these tables it seems like the lighter green and blue shades are a sub-header.
Change the colours to make more sense.
E.g.
The underlined words are also common nouns, please include them in the table
2 dONE
SME: The question asks students to underline, but in the sample answer it is bolded
rather than underlined. The common nouns linking lines may further confuse users.
3 Done
Designer: Don’t confuse learners! There should only be two columns! Nouns and Rules
SME: Best to include examples column as well
5 Done
SME, this should be “its”. See the explanation here and include it in the notes
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/pronouns-possessive-my-
mine-your-yours-etc
7 Done

11 Done
SME, “do” and “have” explanations must include the pronoun “I”
Done
Change the underlined phrases to “…sentences that are” (remove “a” and “is”)
Done
SME, it’s best to change this example to a different sentence e.g. I am an accountant.
In this context, the “current fact” that “I am a girl” implies that there’s a possibility that
I may be a boy tomorrow.
Done
Change to “For sentences with singular subjects, ‘-s’ or ‘-es’ is added to the verbs”
Done
SME, the change of “y” to “-ies” should be included in your Present Tense notes as
well. It is an important point that students should be aware of before trying the sample
questions.
Done
1. Remove “would”
2. SME, this is not completely true. Words like “put” and “beat” are irregular verbs and
they do not change ‘completely’ in their simple past forms.
Done
SME, please provide an explanation before using this term in your notes. Instead of
infinitive form, I recommend using “base form” or at least include an explanation of
infinitive form.
