Pictionary Tips

1. Write shorter lines for articles (a, an, the), prepositions (in, on, at, to, for, etc.) and conjunctions (and, but, or).
Ex.
take a stab
2. Indicate the number of syllables.
3. Take note of the category and challenge.
4. Take note of the prefixes, suffixes, singular, plural and verb tenses.
5. For Action Category, use arrows to words that state motion, location or movement (around, rocking, upward, inward,
etc.)
6. Use ‘sounds like’ if necessary.
7. Review the kinds/parts of the speech.
8. Project your answers to the player and whistle-blower.
