Outcomes: At the end of the lesson students will be able to identify the difference
between Noise and Music

Disposition: Students will listen to each other making different sounds with their mouths
and enjoy their interaction with each other

Skill: Students will listen to pieces and identify the differences between Noise and Music

Set Induction: Students will form two lines facing each other, girls in one line ans boys
in the other. Teacher will clap a simple rhythm that the students can imitate. Teacher will
demonstrate how to introduce themselves by saying her name follow by using a word that
begins with the first letter of her name. Using the rhythm given Eg. CLAP, “My Name Is
Ms. John, joyous Ms. John”). Students will all imitate one after the other rotating to and
fro starting with the first, boy then girl.
