Activity 2 : Trace the Past!

Direction: Research on the personalities shown on the pictures below and make an assumption
what made them the person that they are today.

- He earned a degree in political science from


Lyceum of the Philippines in 1968, as well as a
degree in law from San Beda College in 1972;
which explains why he's qualified enough to be
in a political position

- His mother was a community activist that

movement during the Marcos regime, which
might have influenced him to be engaged in
politics.

- While he was still a mayor in Davao city, he


exercised his authority by implementing harsh
solutions to the crimes (e.g. death squads),
which explains why his war on drugs is
affiliated with thousands of deaths.

- Due to his upbringing in a economically poor


family, he turned to boxing while he was still a
teenager in order to gain extra income.

- His skills in boxing improved over time that


led to him winning several high-profile fights
over the next years. The fights earned him the
title of WBA, the WBC lightweight, and many

- Due to his unprecedented popularity in


boxing, he was featured in numerous
commercial endorsements, movies, TV shows
which even led to him running a position in the
senate.

3. - Coming from a separated family, I grew up

having trust issues with anyone. I really won’t
trust or rely on a person fully until I got to know
them better

- Being raised in a religious family, I joined the


altar servers at our local church, and learned
to have a deep connection with God.

- Additionally, coming from a medical family, I


was also influenced in pursuing a medical
related college course in the future.

1. President of Rotaract Club of TUA - to manage, organize, and lead the club
members and events that will take place. As
well as to maintain the cheerful and peaceful
environment in the club.
2. Honor Student - to maintain the grades and continue in
studying well, as well as using my knowledge
to solving social problems and in thinking
critically.
3. Brother - to take care of my sisters and be their
support system when they need it.
4. Son - to be a good son for my both of my parents
and to not let them down.
5. Male - to respect the opposite sex, as well as the
other genders, and to also not be a toxic,
manipulative, or any immoral behaviour
