1. Overview

1.1 Statement of Work

This document details the needed Procedures to Supervise 1646 through OSI
over IP tunnel over 1660/1662.

The Current Releases used is OMS R11.2SP11, 1660SM (R5.5 & V4.12.39),
1662SMC V2.07.83

An example will be applied to supervise 1646 node “46DANX0A” through 1660

“60DHAC0D”

2. Configuration on Equipment

2.1 Configuration of LAP-D:

2.1.1 Configure The LAP-D in 60DHAC0D & 46DANX0A:
60DHAC0D-SL36P02 is connected to 46DANX0A-SL1-1-7-5-1

Configure LAP-D as network in 1660 and also as network in 1646

Click on Select then choose NE IPT and Send

 Click on the IP-T number of the 1660 NSAP that created in section 3.1.4.4
and Send

 Add the IP tunnel of main server as destination address “172.16.0.1”
with Subnet mask 255.255.255.255 and then Save & exit

Repeat all the previous steps again of 3.1.4.5 and on last step use the IP
tunnel of spare server “172.16.0.2”
