sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific

Program Objectives
• to establish a framework for regional collaboration on science,
technology and engineering education in the context of ESD;
• to clarify the role of higher education institutions in promoting
to clarify the role of higher education institutions in promoting

sustainability science,
• to create a multi‐ and inter‐disciplinary higher education science course
as a model course for regional countries to advocate the creation of a
new discipline for sustainable development, and
• to increase access to quality education tools and resources through the
use of information and communication technology networks
