Research became an integral part of our lives. It begins when we want to know
something. People do research to find solutions, in order to improve or enhance ways of doing
things, we also do research to provide a hypothesis or just simply find an answers to our
questions in our daily life to increase our understandings and contribute to the existing
knowledge. One of the main types of Research is Quantitative Research, wherein it is the
systematic investigation of observable phenomena, by gathering quantifiable data and
performing statistical, mathematical, or computational techniques. The Quantitative Research is
generally use and have been very significant in different fields, just like in the field of Business
and also in Education.

Performing a research, especially Quantitative Research became very essential and

crucial in the field of Business. Wherein it plays a key role in determining the factors for the
success of the business. Since Quantitative Research is mathematically based and statistically
valid, it just means that businessmen can use its findings to make predictions where their
business is headed to. The said research is one of the most effective ways to have a better
understandings towards its customers, the market and its competitors. Quantitative Research is
very useful in answering questions like "How many people are interested in buying your product
or services?" It helps companies to understand the demand and supply of the market and helps to
launch an innovative marketing strategies. Like for instance, testing of new products. The
company must know what type of products and services that the customers want that's why they
need to conduct a research before they market them so that it will minimize the risk. Since
Quantitative Research has the ability to collect large number of subjects and represents the
population it will be very useful in providing a generalized view of their target customers.
Research became very important in any business because it helps it to stay competitive in the
market.

Another is research is not just an aid to business success, it is also significant in the field
of Education. It attempts to gain a better understanding of the educational process to improve its
efficiency. Research became important in the field of Education for it helps to find solutions in
different educational problems concerning in the teaching and learning methods, instructional
strategies, and so on. Educators can use some educational research that had been published
already or they can conduct their own research and use those findings to improve their
competences and find new instructional methods and techniques.

Research became part of our everyday life. When we ask questions and finding out the
answer is considered as a research. Research became significant not only in the fields of
Education, and Business that are stated above but also in Medicine, Political Science,
Psychology, Economics, and to other different fields.
