STRUCTURAL STEELWORK
32,520 mm long steel spider trusses (ST250/16); fabricated with full
welded joints or 1750x50x20-2mm lipped channels supported and
bolted to cleats welded on simple steel trusses fixed at half span of
classromms; fabricated to engineer's detail and painted with red oxide
1 before delivery to site. No. 9
75mm diameter x 3.54 meters long hollow steel posts; top part to be
bolted with M16 bolt and nut to 75x75 x 5mm thick 3000mm long
angle Iron welded back to back while the other end of the welded
angle iron to be bedded in concrete pad stone 400x400 mm in the
wall; to receive spider truss along middle of corridor. The lower end
of 75mm steel pole to be welded with 370mm anchorage tail as per

Steel trusses to be fabricated (as per engineer's detail) and fitted at the
middle of classroom span to support lipped channels. Cleats to be
welded on truss and bolt and nuts be used to fix lipped channels to
trusses. (optional if spider trusses are used middle truss is not
