ACADEMICS

The essence of Accountancy Day is to give the members a break and provide them the
opportunity to present some skills they have on their selves as an Accountancy student. One of the
objectives of this event is to determine the performance of the Accountancy students in terms of their
capability to engage with different games, leadership, cooperation and academic aspects. As a part of
the program, the members of JPIA (from first years to fourth years students) were about to take an
examination in accordance to their standing major subjects. The result of the Quiz Bowl was included as
quiz and to be added to their academic performance. Ms. Jaquelyn Bayani, CPA, JPIA-LPC Chapter
Adviser, prepared the exams to be taken by the 2 nd year accounting students and VP-Academics Danica
Ramos prepared the exams for freshmen accounting students. The examination held on the function hall
of the resort at 10 o’clock in the morning and to be passed at 11:30 o’clock in the afternoon. All
members took the exam in the same time interval. The topnotches of the Quiz Bowl by first year and
fourth year level were about to receive an accounting book which corresponds to his major subjects.

The prizes were awarded to:

First Year Clarisse Peñero

Second Year Marisol Aunor

The result of the exams has a significant relation with the academic status of the students.

The ability to restore knowledge is good, but ability to apply it in the manner it’s supposed to be is the
best.
