1.

The three areas I chose for my Roadmap are business, entrepreneurship, and learner/

being challenged. I chose these three things because they are what always have

interested me. Business is my career choice as of now, so learning about it more in

depth will be beneficial to me. Secondly, I chose entrepreneurship because I find It

fascinating the step people take to start their own businesses and execute their dreams.

Lastly, I chose learner/ being challenged because I love and value education and

furthering my knowledge.

Managers direct buying selling and leasing of all levels of real estate.

experiencing in sales at Zillow Group, I returned to the Irvine Company and became an

assistant community manager for 4 companies.” This interests me because I will be able

to have options with my future. As one of my strength is adaptability it may be hard for

me to stay in one area for long so having the options will give me a lot of flexibility.

5. One task I would enjoy is managing and overseeing operations, maintenance,

administration, and improvement of commercial, industrial, or residential properties. I

would enjoy this being I love and seek being in charge. This has a lot to do with me being

independent which leads me to have an E in my holland code. Because of this I will

thrive overseeing operations. The second task that seems interesting is Negotiating the

sale, lease, or development of property and complete or review appropriate documents

and forms. As a very social person, it is important for me to have close contact with

people. This job has a good balance of social and being able to be independent.

6. A related career is administrative service manager, a Purdue related major would be

general management to learn all aspects of management. This would suit this job

because not only will you learn the necessary management skills, you will be able to

learn many more aspects that may benefit you.

7. The leader I chose is Elvina Beck, she is the founder and CEO of PodShare. In this video I

learned you need to have confidence and love in everything you do. If you do not

believe in yourself, you will not execute your vision to the best of your abilities.

Secondly, I learned to take a chance. She started her business during a recession and

with very little money but since she took a chance, she was able to flourish.

8. The holland code for Property/Community Association Manager is ECS. My holland code

is ESC which would make out congruence score 14 which is a good fit.

9. Some potential problems that could arise is that it may be hard for me to keep

educating myself and learning which is important for my intellection strength.

10. I am even more interested in this career then I was before. It seems to be a great fit

more my personality and strengths. Some other information I may need to make any

decisions is what other steps are there to get other useful tools, like a real estate

license.
1. I kept the same three areas because there is a wide variety of occupations that can

go with business, entrepreneurship, and learner/ being challenged.

2. The second job I chose was historian. Historians analyze and interpret past events or

records.

degree. And lastly the projected job growth in the next ten years is 6%.

much history and history has always interested me. As an intellection I always value

learning new things and this job caters to that.

5. Teaching and conducting research in colleges, universities, museums, and other

research agencies and school interests me as a social being and constantly wanting

to share my findings. Another thing that draws me toward this job is collecting

detailed information on individuals for use in biographies. This interests me because

of the information I will gather just by communicating with people.

6. At Purdue they offer a history degree so that would be the path to take for this

career.

7. One thing I learned from Bob Schoose is that tourism is a usually very steady which

can really help with this degree. Secondly you need to be able to adapt quite easily

to your environment. Things change and you must change with them.

8. The Holland code for historian is SEI. My holland code is ESC which brings my

congruence to 11 out of 18 which is an average fit.

9. One potential challenge I may face with this career is that it may not allow me to be

independent enough or allow me to take control in certain situations.

10. I have never considered this career. I wanted to learn about a new occupation that

has never been brought to light. I am happy I researched, in detail, what a historian

does. Now I am aware that it could potentially be an option for me.
